I've returned to writing fic after a five year hiatus. I am still learning the ropes... in my day it was all LJ, now there's this Tumblr thing (Becisvolatile, if you were wondering) and all the cool kids have groups and wow are people aggressive in fandom!

In terms of fan fiction I am the sort of girl who reads and reads and reads and reads... Then looks around, sees nothing but tumbleweeds, declares that the world needs more and then begins to write her own.

Right now, I'm a little fixated on BBC's Sherlock, but do fancy a bit of Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Prison Break, Dr Who and BDB. Possibly a few others, I'll let you know as they come to mind.

I love a mainstream OTP (OT3, OT4, OT-There-Are-So-Many-Bits-It-Reads-Like-An-Ikea-Booklet) as much as the next girl, but I see no reason not to test the boundaries and dabble in the kinky and devastating. Oh, Irene and Molly? Nice. Irene, Molly and John? Even better. Throw in some Voyeur!Sherlock? Wicked. John and Donovan? Don't mind if I do. I mean, if you're going to play fast and loose with canon, do it with conviction. Unless you plan to bring Anderson in on it. In which case... Don't. His face puts people off.

In terms of who I am... I'm a grown woman (28) from the Antipodes who should be doing better things with her time. Mind you, every time I feel like approaching my life like a grown up, I just sort of sit down and have a cup of tea while I wait for the impulse to pass.

I have no fandom friends, at this point in time, so I'm always happy to have a chat!
