Long time no see!

Years have passed, but I'm still very much invested in the Elder Scrolls series, as those who follow my artblog know well. Most of my writing has been on tumblr (username llerynserathis) since the last time I was here, and I feel like maybe I ought to expand upon them a little on this old account.

To put a few minds at ease: The Ashen Road has not been given up on! What has gotten in the way of its completion has been the loss of my notes from my old laptop, but more importantly the sheer amount of development and expansion made upon Lleryn's character during the years since I first started writing him. This meant that the mer in that original story I started writing in 2013 has come to be a sort of proto-Lleryn in my eyes. But fear not! I'll probably be reworking that story, as the essential elements of it are still very much part of his canon. Lleryn still ends up with his unlikely Breton love, and an accidental halfmer baby still happens - there's just a lot of things that happened before then that I feel could have been better integrated into that chapter of his life.

So what now? A few short tales from Lleryn's youth on Vvardenfell, his exodus from Morrowind, and his miserable tenure in Windhelm might appear here and there, as well as some others I've had on my mind. We'll probably hear from The Ashen Road again, in some shape or form (which would be so much easier if this site allowed you to actually edit what you'd posted). In the meantime, there's a lot of artwork and the odd drabble here and there on the old llerynserathis dot tumblr to tide us over.
