I'm not a perfect writer (no one is), but I do work hard. I spend far more time on my fanfictions than I should, researching the details and making sure my facts are straight. I try to be grammatically correct with proper spelling and keep the writing fresh and interesting.

For me, writing fanfiction is a practice. I have my own stories I intend to eventually either place on the web or get published and writing fanfiction is my way of practicing for my actual writing. I work on character development, descriptions, and plot while writing fanfiction. I do not write it for the sake of others, as much as the feedback is amazing and I enjoy bringing the story to others. When I post it online, keep in mind I am doing it because I feel I may as well since I wrote it. I'll take each comment with a pinch of salt and a spoon of sugar, but I'm not actually expecting any serious criticism, nor will I take it all to heart.

Furthermore, I only write a story as long as I am interested in it, though I try to finish everything I start. I also only write a fanfiction if the plot is what appeals to me. I will not write a random story for the sole purpose of writing slash or sex scenes. I have no problem with these kinds of stories and even read them, but I am using this as a practice for a serious story. For this reason, if such scenes arise in my stories, it is only because I feel it is necessary for the plot and it is not because I am writing porn for the readers.

Finally, what I place in my stories is usually a mix of pushing the plot and what I wish would have happened in the game/movie/book/comic/etc I am basing my story in. Understand, all fanfiction is technically AU and characters will be OoC inevitably as us fanfiction writers do not know everything there is to know about that character.

This said, I hope you all enjoy my stories and please leave a review. I can take criticism, even if it initially makes me cranky.
