My name is Nikki,

The reason why I joined in the first place is due to the trilogy The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I finished reading the series for the second time and there was a lot that I felt was missing. For instance how did Peeta and Katniss grow back together? What happened to Annie? What's Gale up to in District 2? So I decided to see how fans of the book filled in these blanks and after reading some really great fanfiction I signed up for the website and started to write my own.

I am in my 20s and looking to meet people around that age to talk about literature and bounce ideas off of. Soooo please PM me if you are a literature enthusiast. I love hearing different insights from people and have met some pretty awesome fanfiction members so far.

I'd like to say I have a pretty witty and genuine personality. I am always open to a discussion. I've decided to try my hand at fanfiction for writing experience and to gain tips to improve my writing for future endeavours. Stories in Progress

Back Into The Field of Nightmares - a Hunger Games story based on the events that occur in Catching Fire. I recreate Katniss into a girl who tries to learn what it means to be in love before she heads off to the Capitol to participate in the Quarter Quell. Having to participate in the Games again opens her eyes to new relationships and events that she wants to take part in so she has no regrets when she faces death for the second time.

The People of the Woods - an experimental AU Hunger Games fic. It combines folklore and fantasy and focuses more on description than dialogue. Essentially the story is about Katniss Everdeen who is a hunter and lives with the woods with her tribe of people known as the Woodens, and Peeta Mellark who she finds one day when trailing an injured wolf. It explores the worlds of the merchant citizen and the Wooden he has heard so many stories about.

Spring is for Lovers - Second AU Hunger Games fic. This one focuses on Delly Cartwright and the characters are set in high school. It's really just a light-hearted fic filled with ridiculous banter. It's an outlet for me to escape from the seriousness of other stories and just play around. I probably won't make it any more than 10 chapters.

Sweet Nothing from Locked Lips - My first Harry Potter fanfiction. It focuses on building a relationship between Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger, taking place in 6th year, before Malfoy becomes a Death Eater. I want to make it a 2-part series. The second part would take place during the war.

Works Coming in the Future

I used to have a whole bunch of things that I would like to write about, but I'm not so sure I want to add any new projects right now. My goal is to finish the stores I have ongoing.
