Who I am matters not. Names are just labels given to identify individuals. There is no need for identification. After all, that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. No. What matters is my mission and what I do here. Everything else is superficial.

Act II - Vigilante

My Mission Part 1

Me: "You see, I'm a guy of simple taste: I enjoy character development, and emotional connection... and plot twists!" [My men douse crappy fanfiction stories in gasoline]

PJO Archive: "What the - ?" [I brandish pistol]

Me: "You know the thing that they have in common? They make for good stories."

PJO Archive: "You said you were a man of your word."

Me: "Oh, I am. I'm only burning the crappy ones. [throws the PJO Archive's cigar onto the books, setting it ablaze] All you care about is shallow romance novels. This site deserves a better class of writer, and I'm gonna give it to 'em. Tell your ideas they work for me now. This is my site."

PJO Archive: "They won't work for a freak!"

Me: "[mocking the PJO Archive's accent] 'Freak'... [normal voice] Why don't we cut your crappy stories up into little pieces and feed them to your exasperated fans? Hm? And then we'll see how loyal a hungry dog really is! [My men drag the PJO Archive away] It's not about shallow romance... It's about... sending a message. Everything burns!"

My Mission Part 2

Me: "Because that's what needs to happen. Because sometimes... the truth isn't good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded." [runs]

Faithful Fanfic Reader: "Wait! Why is he running?"

Veteran Fanfic Reader: "Because we have to chase him."

Faithful Fanfic Reader: "But he didn't do anything wrong..."

Veteran Fanfic Reader: [looks into distance with hopeful expression] "Because he's the hero Fanfiction deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. TheDemigodProject." [queue epic Batman music]
