I'm female, currently living in Texas after marrying an American, both of which are pretty low down on the list of things I thought would happen to me in my life. But that's what it does to you - just when you think you've got it allfigured out the gods throw you a curveball. Either you take the opportunity or you spend your time wondering what would've happened if you'd taken the opportunity. Previously lived in Cape Town, South Africa (where I was born and grew up) and the UK (for 6 years). I'm a citizen of 3 countries by birth, ancestry and marriage. Talk about your cultural identity crisis. When I was 10 I picked up Susan Cooper's Over Sea, Under Stone and have been hooked on sci-fi and fantasy ever since. I've been writing fanfiction for years, I just didn't know it had an official name. Hopefully one day I'll actually finish one of the several writing projects I've got going and get published.
