A modern/historical AU of Call The Midwife placed in the year ca.1998. Computers, Goths and the Maternal Clinic of Illyria Hospital, where the IT Support Person/Receptionist Shelagh Mannion listens to the woes of Doctor Turner, the Senior Doctor. Based loosely on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

Timothy thinks of his two mothers and has a man-to-man talk with his Dad. This is an AU chapter of events in the Eps. 4.6 and 4.7, and I have reversed the timeline for the sake of drama. Some details are based on information in Doctor Turner's Casebook, so SPOILERS there, if you haven't read the book.

A story of Louise Beaton/Sister Julienne and Charles Newgarden in 1932. Sister Evangelina (actress Maxine Peake),Sister Monica Joan (actress Geraldine James), and a young Patrick Turner also star. Frank Capra's The Miracle Woman (1931), Chaplin's City Lights (1931) and Juliane of Norwich's Revelations of Divine Love also play a role.

Trixie finds out that Cynthia is thinking about becoming a nun. An alternative version of the Caroling Scene (which was filmed but cut) in Christmas Special 2014. A study on friendship, calling and love.

Nurse Shelagh Mannion arrives at Nonnatus Halfway House in 1952 to work as a psychiatric nurse. She meets an enigmatic doctor-in-charge Dr.Turner there. An AU crossover version of Call The Midwife and Jane Eyre.

This is an AU story of how the people in Poplar find out about the ex-nun and the Doctor romance (after Episode 2.8). I am glad that I waited this long for this as it is now possible to enlighten the character of Sister Julienne more deeply. (There is only one reference to Shelagh as Watson, a quote, and she does not do detective work in this story.)

I might have called this story "A Bit of Moral Contagion" or "Timothy Turner's Sex Education", but as it is mostly an alternative version of Series3 Turnadette, let's dedicate it to Angela. The adoption story is rewritten, the version I wrote in "Seeds Of War" in mind. This is also a fragmentary story, with time jumps, leading us to 1965.

Usually, the seeds of war means the incidents leading to a war, but I mean the seeds that were sown in the WW2 and grew into things after the war. A slightly alternative take on Patrick Turner's war experience and the new Turner Family in 1959. No polio, no grey dress. A white wedding at Christmas with all the nuns and nurses. The characters are not the same as in my other fics.

Patrick and Shelagh after Ep. 3.7. AU. Talking nightly of their problems. Guaranteed angst.

The Marriage Wows, part 2. SPOILER. DO NOT READ, if you wish to follow season 3 unspoiled. This story is based on a storyline which was given in one of the cast interviews. It caught my imagination, as it suited the characters of Patrick and Shelagh in The Songs of Bernadette.
