The gods never chose to intercede when ones life was taken away, rather they perfered playing chess behind the scenes: organics their pawns and synthetics their opposition. However, seeing as their trump piece had overcome and synthesis ended the match. They have finally decided that Shepard has a right to continue living.

The Gospel:

The truth is there is a God who has infinite glory, power, and majesty that despite our failures, loves us. He created earth and humans to begin a relationship but Adam and Eve sinned. God, being holy, right and just, cannot stand the sight of sin so in his mercy let them out of the garden and their relationship was broken. Throughout history, humans have been trying to get back into healing the relationship with God but have failed or choose to worship others and ignore God's call back. So God, filled with glory, humbled himself and came to earth to die and take up our sins so our relationship with God is restored. When we accept him, we are back into the family. We live for His love. His love is the one that changes us, not the force of rules.
