I'm never quite sure what to say about myself on these things but here goes...

The name is Alex. I'm kind of obsessed with the Doctor. No, scratch that, I'm ridiculously obsessed with the Doctor. Much like with my obsession with Harry Potter, I initially hated Doctor Who and couldn't see what the big fuss was about. Thankfully, one day I was in a weird mood, turned it on and fell in love. I ended up watching 5 seasons in two and a half weeks and since then my life has never been the same! People think I'm insane, but oh well... they don't know what they're missing out on, now do they? ;)

My favorite Doctor: Easy, David Tennant. I can't even put into words how much I love 10. I still haven't quite gotten over his departure and here we are getting ready to say goodbye to Matt Smith! Can I just say how refreakindiculously estatic I am that he's coming back for the 50th?!?!?! I am pretty sure I'm going to cry. Like ugly cry.

Favorite Companion: Rose Tyler. If she were real we could totally be best mates. Love her to death. Donna Noble comes in at a close second, she is hilarious and her departure from the show tore my heart to bits. Donna was amazing.

Favorite Pairing: Uh... probably pretty obvious. Did you guess Ten/Rose? Well done! Have yourself a jammy dodger/jelly baby/banana!!!

I'm working my way through as much Classic Who as I can get my hands on, and so far I love love love Jon Pertwee!!! The 3rd Doctor is just so funny and debonair and James Bondish, it just kills me! It's rather hard to get a hold of them here in the US but I keep trying. Much to my husband's dismay, I have spent a small fortune on DW encyclopedias etc in order to research as much as I can about the Whoverse. The history of Gallifrey is absolutely fascinating!!!

I am new at this whole fanfic thing, and I am definitely NOT a writer by trade, so bear with me as I work out the kinks in my first fic. I hope to improve and continue writing, there is so much that is left as unfinished business and its torture for me, so writing my own little headcanon has been fun and therapeutic! Hope you enjoy!
