![]() Author has written 3 stories for Captain America, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Thor, and Avengers. This feels like writing the little, "Meet the author" page that appears in some of the two-dollar novels I buy. Here it goes. I'm an aspiring writer and would someday like to publish (under a pen name- keeps life simple) novels in several genres. According to a friend who decided to classify all my stories one day for me, I write Urban Fantasy, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mysteries, Crime-Drama, and the occasional Romance. One of my absolute favorite things to read and to write in a story, is a good pair of friends. This pair may have known each other since early childhood or may have been through stuff together as adults, and these experiences have made them inseparable and loyal friends. I believe friendships (such as Sam & Frodo or Kirk & Bones) are a powerful force in life, and as such add a layer of depth to any story and/or character. I like a good action scene, I enjoy a group of characters cracking jokes around a campfire, a good chase scene is always nice, flashbacks are great tools for revealing glimpses of the characters, and happy endings shouldn't be laughed at. Real life is dark and depressing enough, the story is where you can escape to places that may have zombies, pirates, and killers but there is always an alien warrior, sorceress, or cowboy to do battle with them, saving the day, and riding off into the sunset in order to live out their life peacefully or return to fight another day when another threat presents itself. Story telling, in my opinion, is the oldest and grandest tradition. A tradition I am glad to be a part of. I'm gonna stop rambling now. I feel like I'm running for an office. PS: I also publish on AO3 |
