Felicity comes back from visiting Barry to find a surly Oliver. Against the the warning bells going off in her head, Felicity decides to push him until he cracks and lets her in. His startling confession takes the wind right out of her. '"You think this is all one-side?" Oliver asked.'

Caroline tried to join in on her friends' celebration of the end of Katherine Pierce, but something was holding her back. As she faces some hard truths about herself, she comes face-to-face with a man she had struggled to forget. Klaus had been waiting for an excuse to come back to see her. And he won't leave until he reminds her just how much there was between them. Is she ready?

Klaus left the small town of Mystic Falls for New Orleans, but thoughts of one girl kept pulling at him. He had to see her again: "What's in New Orleans, Klaus?" she asked, needing to know what finally pulled him away from her. "A mistake."

"Will I ever get the girl?" He asked himself as he walked into the Mystic Grille. All the town teens were at the Prom afterparty, so the place was mostly deserted, save for a few lone adults who needed to wallow in the misfortune that was their life. That was okay with Damon. He didn't need a drinking buddy tonight, but as he approached the bar, his eyes landed on somebody who did.

Klaus stared after Tyler's rapidly retreating back, wondering if he was going to regret the decision to let him go yet again. Turning back to the door he stood in front of, Klaus thought of the girl he did this for. She was right earlier, when she said Prom wasn't important to him, but it was important to Caroline and she was important to him. It was that simple.

Saying good-bye is never easy. A chance meeting in an unlikely place brings Klaus and Caroline together for one night that may just be their last.

"My hybrids experienced a bond to me that made them want to please me. I am experiencing the same desire for you. I now know how Tyler felt about me.
