My name is Eveyln or Eve, spelt different because my parents liked me to be different. Raised me travelling the country and only stopping when I was attending some of the best schools that gave me friends and a proper place to call home.

I love to write stories for my mother inspired them for me when I was young and now I have to pass them on.

The man across the street saved my life, as a little wandering girl caught his eye in the traffic, I was scooped up in his arms, I can still remember how my mother cried, when the man across the street saved my life.

I just need to hear you whisper it's alright it's alright. He lived alone after his old wife passed away, when I went to thank him he asked if I had nightmares then and I did.

Then he gave me the wisest piece of advice. "Just because it's easier to be afraid than try to understand, you never wave the white flag of defeat," I heard you whisper it's alright it's alright. And yes I'll tell you now, the man across the street saved my life.

It's alright because when he saved my life, he finally had someone, he came to my birthday when I was young, gave me a present when I graduated and even helped me chose a collage for when I graduate. So yes it's alright that the man across the street saved my life, when my family met him he bacame apart of my families as an adophted Uncle and then a real one when he married my aunt before I moved away again.

He is the greatest man I will ever know. May he enjoy his life.
