Alright, so anybody who has me on author alert will notice I've put up two new stories, in the Outsiders and Friday Night Lights categories. The FNL one was just recently completed, and it's a one shot, so it doesn't make me commit to anything. The other one is a partially written story from a long time ago, which I recently found on my computer. I thought I'd upload it and see if anyone is still interested in my writing. By no means does this mean I'm going to regularly update any of my stories. I am a university student now after all. But I do miss writing... So if there's considerable positive feedback, then perhaps it'll inspire me!

fav things: Where to start...Well, I like writing, reading, horseback riding, and running. I'm fairly good at art, but since I dropped that class this year my interest has dwindled. I like camping up in Muskoka, canoeing and water tubing. I'm passionate about traveling, and have so far been to the U.S, Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, England, France, Spain, Austria, Italy, Holland, Haiti, China and Kenya. I also like languages a lot, but I'm studying Biomedical Science. My favourite candy are sour keys. I also like to do math when I'm nervous or anxious. It calms me. I'm going to be a doctor some day, perhaps a surgeon, spend some time as a Médecin Sans Frontières, and buy a horse ranch. I also hope to publish a book or two before I die.

fav t.v. shows: Supernatural, Firefly, Chuck, Battlestar Galactica, FNL, The Office, Weeds, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Vampire Diaries, Taken, Roswell. I don't usually like reality shows, but The Hills and The City are my guilty pleasures.

fav books: This is an insane question to ask me. I must own about a thousand books and love nearly all of them. The Outsiders and To Kill a Mockingbird are my favourite "classics" and besides that some of my favourite authors right now are Stephen King, Sarah Dessen, and random authors who write about Africa. I'm trying to shift my interest from the teen section of the bookstore to the more mature stuff, like Michael Crummey. Newest favourite series are the Hunger Games books by Suzanne Collins (they're seriously awesome) and the Vampire Diaries (slightly ashamed of this but whatever). I really love most sci-fi, especially stuff like Ender's Game.

fav music: I have a fairly wide range of music, with the exception of rap and country. I can't stand those. I especially have a fondness for classic rock - Nazareth, Rush, Styx, Foreigner, Billy Squire, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin and Def Leppard are among my favourites. I also like most top 40 hits, and classical/score music.

fav food: At the moment, chocolate chip pancakes. But I'm fickle, so it's bound to change soon. (UPDATE: deep fried pickles are rapidly moving up the ranks)

fav movies: Once again, too many. I'm really not picky when it comes to movies. I like the horror genre the best, but I'll watch anything. I have a subscription to and get eleven movies a month, not counting the ones I rent from movie stores. I've seen a lot. My top ones currently are Avatar (duh) and Kick Ass (really wished they'd done better promotion for this movie, cause it rocked).

fav actors: Rob Lowe, Jensen Ackles, Tom Welling, Hayden Christensen, Josh Hartnett, River Phoenix, Adam Brody, Matt Dillon, Luke Wilson, Brad Pitt, Desmond Harrington, Jake Gyllenhaal, Wentworth Miller, Norman Reedus. As you can tell, most of these are based on attractiveness, not acting ability. I'm shallow. Maybe this section should be called "fav men".
