He just takes for granted that Stiles would have cut off his arm and that he kept the man afloat for two hours to keep him from becoming Kanima chow. Derek has taken Stiles to New York City for his 21st, they do everything that Stiles has always wanted to do there, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Broadway, Ellis Island but Derek has been putting the Empire State building off until their last day there, why is that? Sterek.

Derek has always found himself content just being in the same city, close enough to hear Stiles' heartbeat and know he's safe, but things change the day that stiles stumbles into the werewolf's coffee shop.

Stiles smiled, almost breathless as Derek walked towards him, black hair awfully fluffy, just slightly wavy and shining, still damp. Derek probably had panties being thrown at him, really.
