FACT: I write most of my work by hand in notebooks first, I enjoy making lists, and I have recently started my first quote book. One day, when I'm old and wrinkly, my grandchildren will ask what all those ratty notebooks in the attic are and I'll tell them they're my books of writing, my books of lists, and my books of quotes. Alexander the Great, Freddie Mercury, Harry Potter. Mary Seacole, Meryl Streep, Lizzie Bennett. Lots of the time I write when I'm sad. Consider it a warning for pretty much all my stories. I suppose here would be a good place to universally disclaim everything you recognise in my work. Also, apologies for any nationality-based mistakes in my stories. If the original work is American I'll try be as American as possible (e.g. Glee) and if it's British (e.g. Harry Potter) I'll be British. But I'm British to my bones (and irrelevantly a tiny bit French) so no doubt I'll make a few mistakes. Hello, by the way. Call me Cosette. Or Red, I suppose, but I might find that weird. Talk to me. I promise I'll talk back. |
