Welcome to ArrowandShield! Essentially this profile is for promoting a fairly rare pairing in the Marvel Avengers universe known as CaptainHawk or sometimes AmeriHawk, the pairing consists of Steve Rogers aka Captain America and Clint Barton aka Hawkeye.

Despite a comic series ("Captain America and Hawkeye") centered around the two Avengers and promotions for the next Captain America movie suggesting that Clint and Steve (along with Natasha) will be teamed together against the Winter Soldier there just isn't alot of CaptainHawk fic around, either in the friendship/team sense or in the romatic one. Though I have to say what little of the fic out there is excellent, I am never disappointed with the few jewels I find though few and far between.

So this profile will not only feature the seiries of onshots that I have written personally for my spin on the CaptainHawk pairing but it will also feature a collection of Steve and Clint centered fics, ranging from friendships to romances. My Take on CaptainHawk

My take on CaptainHawk is a bit unusual so I think it wise to explain a little bit of just how the pairing works the way I have written it.

My version of CaptainHawk stems from a work in progress that I and a partner are working on as an RP plot and story line and is long in the making but all the best things come in time.

Essentially we have decided that Steve and Clint will bond as friends and teammates long before they become romantically involved. The romance itself is unusual because there is a dynamic that would normally make such a pairing impossible.

Steve Rogers, is without a doubt, heterosexual; his physical attraction lies solely in women.

To make matters more difficult, Clint Barton is asexual. He genetically has no sex-drive of any kind nor feels sexual physical attraction for either sex. This lack of sexual behavior and instinct does not mean he is unable to have a relationship, he in fact very easily falls in love and has his heart broken many times because of it. Clint is classified as 'biromantic', meaning he is fully capable of a platonic romantic relationship with either male or female. He simply cannot offer a physical sexual relationship.

It is because of this misfit dynamic that Clint and Steve will struggle and have so much difficulty in the beginning of their relationship but over time will develop a bond and love thats a fair match for Vibranium!

Though I have written them out of order I shall try to post the series of oneshots as close to chronologically as possible and as more arise and are written they will come along after. Hey everyone! Sorry about being gone so long! I had some issues in real life to deal with that tore away my time AND my muse. I kept trying I promise! I have many a half started and fizzled ideas littering the wasteland of my desktop. BUT NO MORE! The muses have graciously returned!
