Why I write:

I write because I like to voice my opinions and thoughts. I write independently of what people think; that's why I hate graded essays and molding to certain formats. I believe writing is meant to be an expression; I will never criticize another person's writing. I think of myself as an eclectic writer since I'm inspired by Hemingway, Steinbeck, Edgar Allan Poe, Ray Bradbury, Mark Twain, and Shakespeare. I have my own style, but I always try to adapt and learn other techniques.

We hear the opinions and theories of the author through his or her writing. Luckily, we have the choice to agree or disagree with the author based on our own logic. That's why I love writing most of all.

My favorite TV shows in the world are Avatar: the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra because they tell beautiful, stirring stories. I believe anyone, of any age, appreciates a deep, passionately told story. Avatar is the story of kids growing up right before our eyes. Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko try to find light in a conflicted world. Avatar presents sooo many problems like: human rights, utopian society, and genocide, yet it mixes humor(lot's of it), action, and romance. It's fascinating.

Since Avatar is enjoyed by people all over the world, and of all ages, I believe it's the perfect outlet to say what I want to say. Good writing creates a reaction: laughing, questioning, or breaking down into tears and rolling on the floor hopelessly. If I get you to do any of these actions, I've done my job :)
