It has been so long since I've updated I'm not even sure where to start. I'm in the process of going through graduate school to get my master's degree in biology and hopefully become a teacher following that. I am also engaged to a wonderful man and in the process of planning a wedding. Thus writing hasn't been high on my to do list, but I am currently trying to get back into it, slowly, starting with a few of my weaker stories, before I take on my two major projects. I promise those of you who are fans of the Healer's Daughter series and Requiem, that I do plan to work on those stories again, but they'll take a lot more work and attention than I can give just newly coming back to writing, so please continue to be patient.

It Should Have Happened Later: My latest story. I'm really proud of this idea because I think its pretty unique. Anyway, this story is one that I really hope that you'll enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. So go ahead and read it already. Don't forget to review. I'm dead, I'm so dead. After chapter 4 this author dies. Oh, well- at least I get to die happy. I got to torture my friends, and I have my Duo! My life is complete. Chapter 5 is complete and the ending has been posted! Just thought you night like to know! ;P Wow I was allowed to start a sixth chapter and I'm even getting demands to go on and finish this. All the people who are characters seem content with the way things are going. The actual characters themselves are nice safe and snug in their own little corners of Tortall.. too bad things are definitely not going to stay like that much longer. They are in for a very rough and emotional road. -COMPLETE WITH EPILOGUE

Canterbury What: Its a short little one-shot that I had to write for english class based on the Canterbury Tales, and I liked it so much, I thought I'd share. COMPLETE! ONE SHOT!

Lonely: My second Gundam Fanfic. Inspired by the fact that oh my god it's almost christmas, and well, I just wanted to try a one shot. Specifically a one shot that involves 1x2 pairings. I really am proud of it. It could have been so much better, but I think I did good considering it was my first. We'll have to see what happens and if I write any more one shots or 1x2 pairings... even though I still claim Duo as my own. COMPLETE! ONE SHOT!

Fateful Encounters: this was actually written by one of my best friends as a companion piece to my multi-chapter fic, A Crimson Christmas. It is her adaptation with my characters. COMPLETE!

Ai shiteru: Another Gundam Wing one shot. Inspired by... well, not exactly sure what it's inspired by. The ending kinda silly and unrealistic, but otherwise, I'm proud of how presice it is. COMPLETE! ONE SHOT!

Out of Reach: This is a one shot that was written because I was in a very sad mood, and needed an outlet. My mind's been on Power Rangers lately due to my newest multichapter fic, Requiem for an Era, so I decided to write something that I knew would effect both myself and readers. So yeah, probably my most depressing piece on here, but I'm still fond of it. COMPLETE! ONE SHOT!

Out of Time: I loved how well Out of Reach turned out, so I decided it needed a sequel, not a second chapter because there's a rather larger time gap between the two. Either way, its a bit less depressing than Out of Reach, but Out of Time definitely has some of the same qualities. COMPLETE! ONE SHOT!

Out of Hope: I re-read Out of Reach and Out of Time and decided that it needed a more conclusive ending, and thus I wrote this. Its the last one shot in the series, and like Out of Time, there's a big time gap.. very big actually, thus why it's its own story instead of anadditional chapter. Still sad and depressing like its first two, but with a fairly simple ending. COMPLETE! ONE SHOT!

Lightning Never Strikes Twice: Random One shot that the evil plot bunnies made me write. Not your typical Tommy/Kim fic, but heavy on emotion, none the less. COMPLETE! ONE SHOT!

But Sometimes Its Followed By Thunder: I wasn't originially planning to make a follow up for Lightning Never Strikes Twice, but you know those plot bunnies. I really hope they leave me alone now. I do recommend reading the prequel first, otherwise you shall be confused. Once again, not your typical Tommy/Kim fic. COMPLETE! ONE SHOT!

Beyond Fate: The newest addition to my random collection of stories. You know the saying the apple doesn't fall far from the tree; well this story disproves it. I mean it. Beyond Fate is the daughter of The Encounter, yet the only thing it has in common with it's mother is that it is based on the X-men. Beyond FateWAS the story of eight girls, one earth, two instances in time in which the girl's live, and how one event sent their lives into a swirling ball of chaos, depression, despair, darkness, and eventually hope and glory. Now, it is a story about five girls struggle to figure out how they got into the world they'd only read about, or written about, and make it back to their own normal world while helping to save the one they never knew really existed.

A Crimson Christmas: And the stories just keep coming. I really should finish one idea before I start another, but I'm just insane that way. Sorry, but I can't help it. I get ideas and I have to do something with them. This story is a result of my stupid brain telling me I couldn't do it. Well, I'm not sure if it was right or not, but welcome the newest and I'd have to say oddest addition to my random collection of stories. Think about it; most everything here has some sort of magic or extraordinary power to it; and then we have this one. Gundam Wing; it's so out of place on this page. Oh well. My mind never was organized and I suppose it never will be, so why should my stories all corellate with one another. Not really much to say about this story in general. I had an awesome time writing the begining, but I don't know how well you all think it is yet. Anyway, go ahead and enjoy, cause I'm not writing it for my health (well, maybe I am, knowing my friends.) Side note to Ami- no smut scenes yet! New amendment: Smut Smut, and probably more smut, but the story isn't about the smut. No indeed. I know what it's generally about, but I'm not all too sure where it's gonna go.

A Second Chance at Life: Well, back to fun with the supernatural! I'm am officially proud of this story for a few reasons. 1: it is one of the three stories on my page where I didn't use any of my friends as characters. 2: I feel it shows my how my writing has grown. 3: I followed my gut. I got an inspiration and without even sitting around and waiting to see if I really could make something out of it, I just went for it. So yeah, it is a little random on the page, but hey, atleast I kept to my supernatural interests, while bringing in my latest passion. Let me know what you all think.

Challenge of Faith: Sequal to ISHHL. Many old characters return, along with the introduction of new ones.

Requiem for an Era: This is probably the most random thing I've ever started to write, and yet, while I thought it to be the most childish thing I could write. It turned out to be one of my most successful stories. Its only been up a few days and already has more hits than any of my previous stories. It's gotten the most reviews this fast, and its on 23 people's alert lists. I'm absolutely speechless. And I will most definitely have to complete this as I'm enormously proud of it.

Valediction: Second most random multichapter fic I've written, and I'm going to continue writing it even if no one reads it because its a mixture of sadness and happiness at the same time (although the happiness is very very small). So yes, this is a major tradgedy fic... it usually is when you plan to kill all of the main characters.

The Healer's Daughter Series Fanfics in order of publication

Book 1 - Gift: Since the creation of the realm of Tortall, the Queenscove family has always provided a knight to the crown, regardless of the circumstances. Inara of Queenscove plans to continue this tradition. However, she is no ordinary Queenscove knight candidate. First of all, she is a girl. Secondly, she represents a new generation of Tortallans, one that accepts the idea of foreign marriages, as she is half-yamani. Thirdly, she is the only individual born to her family that does not possess even an ounce of the Gift. As Inara progresses through her first few years as a page, she learns that not everyone is as accepting of her as she hoped they would be, and that most of all, she’s more unique than she ever could have known. With her family’s support and the love of her new friends, Inara struggles to find a balance between everything in her life even when one part of her threatens to destroy everything she works so hard to achieve.

Book 2 - The Mage's Apprentice: Inara of Queenscove isn't your typical female page. She's half-yamani and in pocession of a power thought to be extinct that she doesn't get to control. No longer is she the hated half-breed girl among the pages, but a respected member of the group. Her struggle to acceptance seems to be ending, but her battle to control her self, her life, and her new power is threatening everything she holds dear in life. Can she continue her journey towards her shield and learn to master her power? Or will she have to give up her dreams?

The Encounter: Yes... I realize that this story is no longer here. I was slightly disapointed by how it was turning out. However, I don't feel that my attempt at an X-men story was completely useless. While the story itself was not my best work, because it was my first, it gave me the stepping stone I needed in order to write more sucessful stories. Such as ISHHL, Karian of , and my newest work Searching for Destiny. In honor of The Encounter and its all too sad death, I am creating a new X-men story. Please, those of you who did like the original, give your attention to it's off shot which will be posted within the next few weeks. It goes by the name Beyond Fate.

Karian of ?: Not sure if this idea is good but I decided to give it a shot. Read and Review. It will make me very happy. This story, much to my surprise seems to be my best one. I love getting reviews, so keep reviewing, and those of u who haven't, start (cough!VIXEN!cough). And now I finally get to add to my list of people who reviewed more than once, it now includes the following six peoples: Lady Genevieve, Anasha, Treanz-Alyce, Anime-Angel00, Katlin (I luff joo, scotchtape), and Psycholioness13 (sorry if I spelt that wrong).
