Author has written 11 stories for Kingdom Hearts. Uh..wow. So I have no idea what to say about myself. I'm an artist and I'm also trying to learn Spanish fluently. I recently got into writing and...ya. I guess that's it. Oh ya, and I'm a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts (as convoluted as its storyline is) and Durarara!!!. I also love Avatar: The Last Airbender (but come on, who doesn't?) and Adventure Time. Some Cool Bands (For the more indie-alternative inclined): Fleet Foxes-great, great band Also if you're into classical music, you should check out some of Makoto Yoshimori's stuff, especially the scores he did for Durarara!!!. He's an instrumental genius. Favorite Quotes (If you know where all or most of these are from without cheating, you are my new best friend): "Dear Mary...I yearn for you tragically." (book; if you know this and actually enjoyed reading the book it came from, I love you.) I'm sure there are more but I can't think of them at the moment. oooooooooo In Kingdom Hearts Fanfics... Sora is either a buffoon, a popular guy, or an awkward gay kid Okay, that last one was just something that irked me about the games. Anyway, feel free to make your own! What patterns have you guys noticed in KH fanfics? oooooooooo WHAT's On my...RECOMMENDED READING LIST? No. This is not simply a segment for my favorites. This is for stories that may be in my favorites, but that I think deserve special recognition. So I guess the absolute best. "Chicken Bones" by Usagi-san's ipod; This is just an excellent story. It's filled with complex characters that the reader quickly forms connections with. The relationships between the characters are very believable. Ryu reveals things at the perfect moments. What more can I say? It's not just a good fanfic, it's a good story, and that means a lot coming from me. One tiny yaoi warning, but I will say that the yaoi doesn't seem to be the point of the story. It's an actual, believable, unrushed romance. (Also, you can see the gushy, drawn-out review I left there one night when I was really tired. I'm creepy when I'm tired). SUMMARY:Roxas has to go into a mental institution and sort out his problems. There, he meets a few other teenagers and young adults dealing with a multitude of problems. Great, great story. drabbles and one-shots (just the generic term btw; this isn't a story name) by the devil is a waterbender-the devil is a waterbender's repertoire has tons of great drabbles and paragraph-long stories. They're all heartfelt, well-written musings, and you can breeze right through them. Leave a review if you do; the stories great, and in my opinion, completely under-appreciated. oooooooooo And here is a list of all the SONGs OF THE WEEK. Since I update my longer stories weekly, I also like to give a little extra to my readers. The Song of the Week is just my pick of good music, and a lot of it may be stuff you've never heard before. Give a few a listen; you might be surprised. 1. "Blood" by the Middle East- beautiful tune, sad lyrics. If you like indie or alternative, this'll be great for you. Also, the first ever song of the week. It has long been one of my favorites. Btw; Weird music vid. Listen to the song before watching it. 2. "The Rifle's Spiral" by The Shins-upbeat, catchy tune. Interesting lyrics. Love the music video; it's weird but I really, really, like it. 3. "Save Us" by Feeder- cool song. Great music in the background. It gets me pumped. Pretty cool music vid, but listen to the song before you watch it. 4. "Postcards from Italy" Beirut cover- excellent instrumentals. If you like instrumentals, this is a great band for you. Also, I love the vocals, and the pacing of the music in this song. Just an overall good song. Cool music vid. I'm not crazy about it, but it's chill. oooooooooo And Lastly, a list of the stories in the Dearest Friend Collection in the order I published them. 1. "Dearest Friend"-Xion & Roxas 2. "Big Bear and Little Bears: Pals Forever."-Axel & Roxas 3. "The Valley of Ashes"-Vanitas...Just Vanitas. oooooooooo RANDOM IPOD CHALLENGE 'kay, so I know there's probably quite a few variations of this floating around fan , but here it is: Set your iPod on shuffle, and pick the first five songs that come up. Write five one-shots, using a different song for each as a jumping off point. You can set parameters for yourself; Maybe each one has to be a drabble, or each one has to be AkuRoku. Maybe they'll make up a short multichapter. Whatever you like. Heh, not really much of a challenge. Okay, so I really just want to see what type of music you guys like. Don't forget to leave an author's note referencing the song name and band! And good luck! I just finished my third today. oooooooooo Anyway...ya. PLEASE READ AND REVIEW MY STUFF! I cannot stress enough how much any type of review brightens up my day. PM me if you'd like. I love talking to you guys! |
