About me: Hello, everyone. I am an English Major who is both obsessed with writing and with life. Isn't life fun? I am also on fictionpress under the same name. But please, don't check out my stories there. I posted them back when I was in high school and, boy, are they bad. I also run a blog called Madame Writer.

Favorite movies/tv shows: I am not one to like anything that is currently popular. I never saw what was so interesting about the Twilight craze, and The Hunger Games are just depressing. I like a couple mini-series: Tin Man (2007) and Alice (2009), both aired on the syfy channel. As for movies, I go more for the classics: Pride and Prejudice (the one with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth, as I refuse to acknowledge the one made in 2005 was actually based on Pride and Prejudice), Lord of the Rings, and any movie based on Shakespeare's plays. Other movies I like are The Secret of Moonacre (2008), Alice in Wonderland (2010), Mirrormask (2006), Clue (1985), and Labyrinth (1986), just to name a few. I watch tons of foreign movies/series as well. I am also a great fan of any historical movie or drama set in the Victorian Era.

Favorite Books: I read anthing: historical mysteries, fantasy, the classics (which are seriously unappreciated). I love doing historical research for my books, which means reading a lot of non-fiction books about history.
