![]() Author has written 7 stories for Vampire Diaries, True Blood, and Mentalist. Hey there and thanks for checking out my profile. If you did, then that must mean I did something right with my stories, and that's a huge relief. In any case, I'm currently a girl with a laptop going all around the world, so I can't really name a specific location. With that said, below are some tidbits about me which you might like to learn. If anything though, it's my stories which really help give a view into my personality. And yes, that was a blatant attempt to get you read my stuff. Part One - As A Reader and Writer As a reader, I'll devour information like a cow chews grass - I'm actually not exaggerating. You name the genre, and I've probably read something at one point or another. I'll be happy to sink down reading Niccolo Machiavelli's The Prince with exactly the same glee as Michael Scott's books on Nicholas Flamel. Nonfiction-wise, I take particular interest in linguistics, history and philosophy, politics and economics, sociology and ethics. I also take interest in biology, cosmology and theoretical physics. On the other side of the fence, I don't really constrain myself to one genre of fiction when reading. I read mysteries, suspense, thrillers and horror with the same enthusiasm as a tearjerker like Tuesdays with Morrie or the occasional romance. As a writer though, I particularly like writing fantasy. I like it because it offers me a way to go beyond the world I know, even to go so far as to create a completely new one. As I mentioned above, I read Michael Scott's books, which are huge inspirations to me. Of course, I also loved Tolkien and Eoin Colfer, along with Gabriel Garcia Marquez and his book, One Hundred Years of Solitude. Part Two - Published Stories and Updates on Them 1. Road Trips and Realizations is now complete, so no updates on that end. I wrote that in honor of the epic qualities of road tripping, only compounded by the amazing personality of Mr. Damon Salvatore. As the title says, it's about a road trip and the accompanying realizations it entails. Just as a disclosure, the pairing is DE for The Vampire Diaries. 2. Finding the Light is also for The Vampire Diaries, though it deals with the problems brought by a vampire Elena. Hence, stuff like hunting and the struggles of vampirism abound. At its heart, it's also about Damon and Elena, as well as the ramifications of her change into an immortal. It's currently in completed mode, though it's not really completed. I just don't know where to take it yet. 3. Fight for You is a two-shot establishing my fourth published story, To Fight and To Love. Unlike the first two stories, this one is written for True Blood, in an attempt to fix the havoc which Alan Ball has wrought on our beloved SVM. Each of the two chapters is a letter, one from Eric and the other from Sookie. It begins the day after Sookie silvers Tara in the second episode of the fifth season. It's already complete. 4. To Fight and To Love is my presently published True Blood fic. And yeah, I also don't know where to take it now. The fifth season of True Blood has not impressed me much, and I've lost so much enthusiasm. Darn. Part Three - Current Focus My current focus is The Vampire Diaries, so my stories will revolve around that. Part Four - In the Pipeline I have some ideas in the pipeline. |
