This is actually one of my favorite fan fictions because it is so beautifully and tragically written. While it may seem long, the content is so enticing that i couldn't stop reading. I'm reading it for the second time around and once again marvel at the ingenuousness of the author and her clever plot. This is not a SasuNaru fanfic but rather a different look at Naruto and his development, it's not super powerful Naruto but a more realistic look if he had been trained from early on in his life. The reason i highly recommend this, is because the author does an absolute wonderful job at developing and expanding the ninja world and the conflicts. The first chapter might seem a little silly but just keep going and you are just thrust into a world seen but not fully explore, from Sky nin to the Bloody Cove, this one is another perfect read. This is another wonderfully written story, it had been posted a while but the author erased it and decided to bring it back since a lot of people were anticipating more chapters. Based on a telling on past, present, and future in which Sasuke and Naruto have to face multiple challenges across many lifetimes. It is truly well written and while there may be some spelling mistakes, it doesn't take away from the story. It's also one of the few that i actually truly became and furious at Sasuke.
