Alright, few people I've managed to hook as a fanbase. Despite joining a (reasonably) long time ago, it's only been 2016 that I've resumed posting ANYTHING. I've quite lenient with the very few stories I've posted over the last few years, besides the recent updating in the IZ fandom. Reasons?

Well, once upon a time, I would've told you that it was all thanks to an existential crisis preoccupying me, and a massive defeatist attitude on top of being a perfectionist. My disposition would lead to massive flops between a marathon of creativity and wads upon wads of writer's block.

These days, I think that might be part of it (as well something else I had for a long time that I'll get into later), but the heart of the problem is that I'm LAZY.

But that's not why you're here, is it?: "What about WRITING? Working on those, like, three on-going narratives you just stopped updating without a howdy-do?"

Well here's the thing, amigos. I refuse to actually delete anything. Yes, even the story where there are immediate continuity errors in the first chapter(Christ, why do you all like Back to Boston, again? I mean, objectively, it's pretty shit, and I don't get it. Surely there's better Scout angst out there? but anyway), now why would I do that?

For a long, long time, I refused to write anything. On top of laziness, part of the reason behind it was plain-old fear of you guys. The people I looked up to had all this work out there that hovered so much closer to a state of perfection than I could ever dream of reaching, and all I could think of was how much I sucked in comparison. And I realize now that they once sucked as much as I did -- they were just too embarrassed to let anyone see their "failures", and thus, too embarrassed to let others see how far they'd come! A vicious circle indeed! ...Plus, a lot of stories I once loved got deleted, too. Pretty frustrating. I'd never wish such a welping of disappointment onto anyone.

So, uh... Yeah -- never gonna delete my stuff. But that doesn't mean I MUST finish cringe-worthy older work. Even Our Dear Gravel Wars, and lord knows how passionate I was about that one. I still sort of am? But I'm thinking I might need to restart that one if I ever do return, because... ...Yeesh. 'Them adjectives. And Engie's such a bitch in it too, heheh.

Really, I've put the slammer on BS(lol), and kind of ODGW as well as BtB(I really don't wanna let the former go. But that one's gonna need some decent-sized revamping, I believe, and it may be a looooong time before that one is complete). Do I have any decent-sized fic-projects planned? The answer is yes, but life is kind of hectic, so we'll see what's in store for us. For now, Shrapnel's got my full attention. Let's hope it lasts.

Well, when I was about ten, and just getting into writing, I made up a little story about a guy named Koro, who's memory-less life, as it turned out, was a lie(o noezzz). His military section was evil and controlling him, and he had to use a weapon called the Raven Blade to save the universe and all that jazz.
It was much stupider than it sounds, with every other plot-point containing an excessive plot hole.
Bonus; it ripped every good plot point from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2.

Personally, I prefer being called Blade, but Raven's fine as well. Whatever you'd prefer (or "The". That'd be a funny thing to be called, wouldn't it? OH MAN, WHAT ABOUT RAVE?! FCK YEEEEEHHHHHH).

I can cover a fairly wide range, I think. Drama, horror, tragedy, crack comedy, hurt comfort, and even romance... I change personalities at the drop of a hat, or so the saying goes, so many different ideas will incoorporate themselves into different tones and themes. I like drama a lot, though. Madness, too. It's fun to work with. I might even start abusing insanity as a subject in the future, actually.

Sometimes, you sit down and have a good, long thought about your life. You look back at all the hate you held for illogical things, and think; would you have shipped those two characters, if the genders weren't the same?

Yeah, you would've.

And you continue that path of thought. Yeah, friendships between two people of the same sex can exist... Same way a friendship between two people of different sexes can exist. What the hell was wrong with you anyway, hating love because two of the genitals involved were of the same model? It's beautiful. The way those characters interact is beautiful.

You also kinda start to realize that you're getting progressively gayer every year, too. That's a thing. And then your friends convert you to their ships and you're suddenly like shipping trash DON'T BEFRIEND PEOPLE ON TUMBLR IT WILL BE THE END OF YOU.

Meh, okay. Do you write OCs?

Only when I feel I have to for a fic. Like... Say no one in the series can fill the role. Then I'll try to come up with the most balanced character possible and incorporate them as well as I can. Usually, such OCs would take a step back for the canon character. I probably will refrain from OC romance as well, unless it really fits with the plot and I feel it adds substance. Bonus points if the story is satire.
