I'm no longer pretending otherwise; Day by Day is discontinued. It will not be updated again.

It's the story that I've gotten the most response for, and I am grateful for everyone who has expressed their enjoyment of the story, and I am glad for the run and that I wrote it.

The sad fact of the matter is, I've lost the spark for this story. I no longer have a feel for the plot or the characters. It's become strongly associated with stress for me, and it is also connected with some very bad memories that I would prefer to let go of. To anyone who was looking forward to a continuation: I am sorry for disappointing you.

On a related note, I have been asked two separate times to hand off the story to another author to finish. My answer to this is no.
