Hello. Let me begin by saying that I love this site. What gets better than fans coming together to write and share scenarios of beloved films, shows, books, games, etc. that never happened? Haha. It frees creativity and generally makes for a good time. I love reading stories with fresh views. In some cases, good fanfiction has even inspired me to ship certain couples or what have you. I rarely review, even for stories I follow. The main reason for this is that I forget, to be honest. If you're looking for a review from me, you'll most likely have to shoot a PM my way.

Even though I welcome most things with a fairly open mind, there are some topics I have seen fanfiction center around that just make me want to smash something. These are all just my opinions, not personal attacks. The top one is using an unnatural sexual theme as a substitute for good writing. Stories centering around relationships with rape/non-con, incest, etc. do nothing but sicken me. I also cannot stand it when authors use curse words in nearly every sentence like they're synonymous with intelligent vocabulary.

My biggest problem is with arrogant flamers who think their rules are THE rules. There is no one person who has the right to judge; literature quality is often a matter of opinion. If you're going to give criticism, do it kindly. There's no reason to be a jerk about it.
