Author has written 18 stories for Sherlock, and Supernatural. If you have stumbled upon my page: hello! Welcome, please do stay a while. My name is Nicola. I'm a twenty-something grad student who writes academic essays during the day and fanfic in the evenings. BBC's Sherlock simultaneously stimulates and wounds my heart. I ship Mystrade and Johnlock. My muse, I have found over time, is an extremely angsty one, and my stories tend to be full of emotional turmoil and introspective character development. I love all of the characters, despite the pain and suffering that I cause them in my writing, although I freely admit that have a reserved a special place in my heart for Gregory Lestrade. l've been on something of a hiatus for a variety of health and personal issues, but I am recently returned and am I trying to resume a regular posting schedule for several WIPs. So look for at least one of my stories to be updated every ten days or so. The chronological order of the stories in the You Were My Life-verse goes roughly: A Bear Named Watson Where You Find It (WIP) No Words (WIP) You Were My Life Finding Ourselves (WIP) I currently have at least two more prequels, a sequel, and a companion piece planned for that universe. All of my other stories can be read in whatever order you see fit: please note that Good Advice, The Case of the Missing Blogger, and Jolly Holiday are *significanly* lighter, fluffier, and good antidotes to the more angst ridden writing I have listed above. Please, leave reviews if you can. I really appreciate feedback and I love hearing reader responses. I'm also open to prompts and suggestions for future works.
