Have you ever had the feeling like life was just piling one thing after another on you?

That all the bad luck in the world was directed at you?

But then, after a while, life eventually turned around.

Was it perfect? No.

But did you find the light at the end of the tunnel or a way to cope, maybe even met a new friend in the process?

Everyone goes through challenges in life, it's how you deal and move forward that truly illuminates the character of the person.

So write us whatever you want, but please, don't make it a picture perfect characterization of life.

The flaws, the heartache, the battle and triumphs are what we want to read about.

Then go write us your best tale of hope.

That in the end, things will get better.

I'm not saying you have to make your story a sickly sweet happily ever after, but we do want to see some promise of better things down the road.

Be sure to read all the rules (listed below) and to have your entry beta'd prior to submitting it.

We will not be accepting any entries that do not meet the minimum standards for grammar and punctuation.

This contest is anonymous, so please don't tease or tell people which story is yours.

It will be disqualified, and we don't want that.

RULES

This is a Twilight contest, so it obviously must utilize the characters we know & love.

•Must be based on a prompt provided (Prompt Page: http:///p/prompts.html)

•Must be between 2,000 and 20,000 words not including the A/N or the contest heading

•Must be a O/S, please no previously posted stories or outtakes.

•This is an anonymous contest so please don't cheat by telling people that it's your story...we will eventually find out and then you will be disqualified. Plus cheating isn't cool!

•Collaborations are allowed, but please remember to include all member’s pen-names in the entry e-mail.

•Any Paring is allowed

•Please also no rape, incest, pedophilia (unless it's 107 year old vamps with 17 year old girls), bestiality (unless it's werewolves) – you get the idea. If you have a question regarding content, please e-mail me at HopeSprings2012@

•Any Rating is allowed. Lemons are not required, but are always appreciated!

•Please get your stories Beta'd...if you don't have someone available to beta for you I suggest sending the story to Project Team Beta or Sparkly Red Pen. It does take time to get this done so don't wait until the very last minute to send it in. We're giving you plenty of time to get it in. If you are still having problems just get in touch with us and we'll see if we can help you out. *Please note if your story does not meet certain grammatical standards, we will return it to you for rebetaing. Your entry must still be returned by the submission close date.

•Finally the limit is two entries per individual or collaboration.
