Hi all, my name is Stephanie but I have been writing under the pen name Esper for years. I am 29 years old and studied for my BA in creative writing and English at Brooklyn College.

I have been married 4 years and have 2 children ages 2 and 1.

I always wanted to be a writer but when life got in the way my plans had to change to adapt to my quickly changing schedule. Through the years I have written several short stories and poems but I would have to say my biggest accomplishment was a play that I wrote which went on Broadway in 2002.

A few years back I started working on my first novel. After 6 months of work, my computer crashed and I lost the entire thing. Devastated, I put writing on hold for a few years. Refusing to waste any more time on a dream I thought would never happen. Until I got married. After some massive convincing on my husband’s part. He convinced me to take it up again. To the point that he would keep the kids away and force me to sit at my computer. Threatening to duct tape me to the chair until I finished a paragraph.

I started my new novel and to the horror discovered I was out of practice. So here is where Fanfiction.net comes in. I said how am I to finish a novel when I have left every story since 2006 unfinished. To my amazement he plainly told me, write what you love, no matter how nerdy it might be. Simple easy words, but to me it was an eye opener.

I refuse to give up on my dream and so here we are. Me grasping at straws as I try to make a Bio for myself. Write what I love. So I chose Assassins Creed to start off with (which I actually have a tattoo of on my back and am secretly obsessed with.) and Dragon Age (OMG cannot wait for Inquisition.) I also have a Mass Effect story in affect, but let’s focus on one before I get in over my head. So here is my debut and I hope it gives me the encouragement and guidance that I need to hone my skill.
