My Facts and Non-Fiction of My Life:

Facts:
I'm 22... 23 by the end of the summer, and I'm a Canadian woman on the east coast. Right on the coast, actually. Can't live without the ocean. I relate a lot with water... I work full-time, and sometimes I go to university... off and on.
I started writing a long time ago, then stopped, I don't know why. Where ever I go, no matter what I'm doing, I'm telling myself a story. I just can't stop. I even create believable stories when I dream... you know, that aren't even too abstract... lots of my fan fic ideas come from my dreams.

Pets:
I'm the priviledged and honoured servant of two perfect cats... I'm very much a cat person, obviously! I adopted them when they were six months old from an animal shelter, brother and sister, and I saved them from getting split up. They look like
sleak black miniature panthers, with strong siamese blood coursing through their veins. I named them Merlin and Lola.
I also have two degus, named Perl and Etoile. They are exotic pets, and they have exotic names.
I'm in the midst of stealing the heart of my brother's new kitten, who I'm praying won't get called "Smokey"... -(evil laughter)-
I also have a boyfriend... umm, I shouldn't list this under "pets", should I...

Astrology and other 'ologies:
For the longest while, I called myself a Virgo, but I am born on Aug 23, and I apparently that means I'm part Leo as well... leave it up to me to make things more complicated that they have to be. -(sings the blues)- "oh yeah, I was born under TWO bad signs..."
I have a numerology number of 33. That's a power number, yay! Something about being spiritually apt... -(shrugs)- whatever.
I was also born during the chinese year of dog... did I mention I'm scared of dogs? It's one of the only thing I'm really scared of...
I don't much faith in these 'ologies, hehe. Sometimes they strike eerily close to home, though...

Favourites:
My favourite turtles are Raphael, Raph, and Raphy... (see a pattern?)... oh yeah, and Leonardo as well.
My favourite Biker Mouse is Throttle. (I support Throttle/Carbine and Charlie/Vinnie pairing... hey, don't give me that look, Carbine
is cool... in her own way... -(runs away)- ...)

Fav. Japanese Anime: Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell / Stand Alone Complex, and Serial Experiment Lain

Fav Movies: Serenity, Schindler's List, the Princess Bride, The God Father, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fear and Loathing Las Vegas, Tank Girl (please don't laugh...), Reservoir Dogs, Donnie Darko, Magnolia, Brazil, Office Space ... oh, and all Kubrick movies.

Fav. TV Shows: South Park, Monk, Simpsons, Family Guy, Firefly, Farscape, and Dr Who!

Fav. bands/music: The Beatles, Beck, Apocalyptica, Juno Reactor, Bjork, The Doors, Loreena McKennitt, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Supertramp... and classical music.

Other Interests: Roller Blading, biking, rock collecting, the great outdoors, shiny things, computers, reading, (writing of course), singing and musical instruments, philosophy, psychology, Taoism, sci-fi, DnD, and dancing.

Yeah, I know. My tastes are -all- over the place. My life is just as cluttered as my mind, believe me...

I was the little girl who was stung by a bumblebee, then cried not from the pain, but because the bumblebee's life was lost.
I am the grown woman who tosses aside her own tears and comforts her friends.
I am the lone introvert who deals with problems alone, hiding and shying from helpful hands.

I was the little girl carefully plucking worms out of puddles on rainy days, saving them from certain watery doom.
I am the grown woman standing in the rain, feeling the earth soften under her bare feet.
I still am still that child who plucks the worms from the puddles, and saves beetles from getting crushed on the concrete and asphalt.

I am the drugless hippy singing rock'n'roll, and dancing with the devil underneath the pale moonlight.
I am the classical musician brought down to her knees by the breathtaking intensity of a symphonic melody.
My drug of choice is musical-intoxication, and my sober-self is strange and obnoxious enough as it is...

I am not a hopeless romantic.
I am the thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie who only ever endangers herself, under the delusion that the acts are "victimless".

I am in love, yet I'm the philosophizing self-diagnosing psychologist who wonders:
