This will be a story set post-series, back in New York. Betty gets an offer she can't refuse from an old friend and finds that perhaps she left something behind that couldn't be replaced.

This is a post-series story, set in New York, early in 2020 (ASSUMING nobody had heard of pandemics!) I am also referencing (at least in the first chapter) my very first fanfic, Into the Deep, written (like Daniel's novel), in December of 2011. My how time flies! Aloha, readers! I was having a really difficult time finding something that inspired me to start writing again, what with it being the "end of the world as we know it" and all lately! But of all things, I just happened to run across a deleted scene of Betty, sneaking into her room at night to get her headgear, on that infamous night before he wakes up in her bed...

We will see what might have been happening between the series ending and today and find out if there really is such a thing as a "Christmas Miracle". Along with several of my favorite canon characters, I will be introducing some original characters to help our favorite couple to get to their holiday miracle. Hope you enjoy it!

This is a post-series story set in New York. At first, Daniel thinks he is hallucinating but comes face-to-face with his ghost. Meanwhile, Betty takes advantage of previously forgotten opportunities she never thought would happen, both personally and professionally, with a little help (and push) from her friends, family, and frenemies.

There was a good reason Daniel did his best imitation of an action hero to rescue Betty, wasn't there? Let's just say I don't think Betty was the only with a crush.

This is a slow burn story, with some similar elements to "Be Careful What You Wish For" only from Daniel's perspective. It's a bit of a departure for me since I tend to throw Detty together immediately! But I do love waiting for them to find one another. As Jane says, "You want nothing but patience, or give it a more fascinating name: call it hope."

This tale begins in the present day, at times reverting to flashbacks. Daniel and Betty are forced by certain family members to face up to their past mistakes. They soon realize there is "Team Daniel and Betty" there to kick them in the rear and help them see it is never too late to see the beauty in the world and make everything right.

A/N: This is one scene I don't usually "mess with" because I feel like their "special night" was already pretty perfect. But I'm going to "tweak it" a bit and see what happens to our favorite couple!

Aloha, readers! I haven't been on here in a very long time. So I thought this might be a good test to see if we missed each other. (Kind of like Betty missed Daniel in this story). I'm sort of doing a role reversal thing here, where unlike most of my stories, Daniel is chasing Betty around, this time, she's chasing him! Smart girl! I hope you enjoy it.
