Have you ever been so happy, but so happy, that you wanted to go down the hall to your apartment doing cartwheels because life is just so wonderful? I have, and I decided to serve a mission to share that with everyone. I don't think FFnet is the place to discuss religion, but you can get answers to a lot of questions in the website and after that, if you still have any questions, feel free to PM me :D

I can't help it, I love the stuff, even though it drives me crazy(-ier). Now I'm getting started in my next level of schooling. That, together with the reasons within the next topic, is why I'm retiring from FFnet.

Once, in High School, our English teacher told us some stories about millionairies who gave up their millionairy companies to do things like buy a fishing boat or drive a bus. They did it because they were unhappy in their companies, and they choose to do something they loved instead. And the things they loved were the things they played when they were kids. So, one beautiful day, I visited my grandmother, and in her house there were some drawers filled with stuff I made as a kid, and when I opened those drawers I found...

Books. Stories and Comics. Things I wrote for school but liked so much that I chose to keep them, and things I wrote just because I liked writing/drawing/telling stories. Writing/Creating stories was my favorite game as a kid, and is the thing I love the most now.

I plan to become a professional writer, and that means I'll have to dedicate myself to find a good publishing company - or to promote my work independently, which is just as much trouble - and, of course, to write my own, original work. Between that and my graduate studies, I'll have little to no time to dedicate to fanfiction, so I won't be publishing here anymore... (if I do, and people start complimenting my work... oh, the guilt! I'll feel guilty if I don't update the stories you guys want to read, I'll feel guilty if I don't spend time on my original work.)

As mentioned above, I'm retiring from FFnet... as soon as The Dance of the Feathers is complete. It's already too bad that I stopped with ZDP, but DoF already has a clear ending in my mind - I just have to write my way through.
