A note about previous fics: I wrote them both in high school, finishing the latest fic over three years ago. With this newest fic, I hope to improve upon where I fell short in previous fics. Turning Time was motivated by my desire to change the past, so Harry was a sort of vessel for wish-fulfillment, a plot device rather than a real character. Additionally, I wrote the fic as I went with only rough ideas about the future, so it wasn't super intentioned or thought out. With The Untold Story, I didn't want to give up my previous fic, but try to write about a ship with mini one-shots collected over a period of time. Looking back, this format is a lot less satisfying than a fully-fledged story arc. The explicit nature of the fic was an interesting personal challenge, though I would only try something similar again in a one-shot or short fic.

That being said, with the fic I am currently writing, I am making more of a conscious effort to improve the bones of the story as well as the details that will bring it to life. If it receives more positive feedback than my previous fics have over the years, I will feel satisfied and be able to move on to shorter projects.
