Written for mid0nz's Sherlock writing contest based on props found on set. A short 221B inspired by the Oxford Textbook of Suicidology and Suicide Prevention: A Global Perspective by Danuta Wasserman and Camilla Wasserman.

Arthur is visiting his friend Lance in France for a few weeks during the summer. He doesn't speak the language and the town is small and boring, but Lance's friends are alright. Even if that skinny, dark haired one seems to enjoy annoying Arthur. Now if only Arthur could understand what the heck he keeps saying in French... Merthur. Modern AU.

Sherlock's been back two weeks, and John has been nothing but pleasant. Just pleasant. But tension is running high and something's got to give eventually. (You can probably guess where this leads... Rated for a swearword and a bit of light slash.)

When John has to go to Afghanistan for a month, he returns to find Sherlock doesn't even seem to have noticed his absence. Or has he? Johnlock.
