About Me

Hello! Please say hi through a PM if you'd like :) I would love to get a few story recommendations from anyone who has been on this site for a long time! Happy to read and review any stories that are recommended to me.

Why I Write

I strive to understand people - and I find one of the easiest ways to understand people's emotions, motivations, actions, etc. is to imagine them as a character in a story. I think writing gives you a good idea of what drives real people. It's a way to look at good and evil and what determines which side a person will be on, which is why I write so many Tom Riddle stories. I think writing gives you a better grasp on humanity, on why we do the things we do, why we are the way we are, and what that will lead to.

Stories

Riddle and his Sphinx: Tom Riddle/OC. Romance, tragedy. Eleanor Jouteur is orphaned at the tender age of four. Tom Riddle is the first person she meets in her new home. Was it fate that the only two magical children in the orphanage would end up being best friends? They enter Hogwarts together, argue and make amends during their years at school, changing their friendship dramatically along the way - until Tom Riddle realizes he's fallen in love with his best friend, who in no way feels the same. In typical Riddle fashion, he does his best to keep Eleanor all to himself. Until a blood-traitor Gryffindor arrives to sweep her off her feet, and Tom Riddle slowly gives way to Lord Voldemort. Read the story that explains it all - from Voldemort's roots to his disastrous future, and what led him down the dark path.

Preview: "That was when he understood what this war was really about. It was not about cleansing the wizarding world or creating a world where wizards would not have to hide from and fear Muggles. It was not about creating a new order under which the purebloods could rule. This war was not what Voldemort had told them it was, it would not bring them all the glory and honor they deserved. This war was really only about Voldemort and his own anger, his own hunger for revenge. Revenge for the muggle father who had left him, revenge for the blood-traitor mother who hadn't been willing to live for him, revenge for all of the muggles who had made fun of him while he was at the orphanage. But most of all, this war was about Eleanor."

1100 Silver Coins: Tom Riddle/OC. Romance, tragedy. There was one girl at Hogwarts that Tom Riddle hated with a passion greater than he hated his muggle father or his weak mother – the Head Girl. But, you know what they say, know thy enemy. Tom Riddle is angry and ambitious. Vera Sinclair is spoiled and manipulative. The two collide, but they are also two sides of the same coin - both power hungry, selfish, their only difference lies in birth. Will the similarity pull them together, or push them away? Perhaps Tom Riddle has a weak spot after all, but he is not about to go around revealing it (or it's product) to the entire world.

Preview: "After they were done, she pulled herself away and rose to go to the bathroom. He heard her turn on the water and assumed she must be taking a shower. She always did. It made him wonder whether it was because she couldn't stand the filth of a half-blood on her skin, just as he couldn't stand the filth of a mudblood on his. After all, she had told him herself that her world, her perfect, extravagant, elitist world which even few pureblood families were allowed to enter, would never accept him."

To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe. - Anatole France
