About Me Let's see...I am a college student, obtaining my bachelor of science degree in zoology. I am both an avid reader and writer, especially when I am choosing the material, as opposed to my professor. I enjoy all of the sciences, particularly physics (hence the pen name). I have been visiting and reading this website for the past five years, but only recently decided to create an account and post my work. I enjoy all things voiced by Gideon Emery; his voice is an incredible motivator. I'm certain that the man could make the Magna Carta sound sexy. Favorite Authors/Books Stephen King - Pretty much anything by him, but in particular "The Dark Tower" series. His ability to tell a wide range of stories is a gift to all of humanity. Kate Chopin - "The Awakening" is a fantastic novel by Mrs. Chopin. She also wrote incredible short stories, "The Story of an Hour" and "The Storm" to name two. She wrote about woman's issues and feelings before they were popular topics; she was truly a woman before her time. J.R.R. Tolkien - "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy and "The Hobbit" C.S. Lewis - "The Chronicles of Narnia" Series Lewis Carroll - "Alice in Wonderland" Favorite Games Final Fantasy Favorite Quotes "[S]He conquers who endures." - Persius "In peace, vigilance. In war, victory. In death, sacrifice." - Grey Warden motto "Seeking to forget makes exile all the longer; the secret of redemption lies in remembrance." - Richard von Weizsaecker "There would be no one to live for her during those coming years; she would live for herself. There would be no powerful will bending hers in that blind persistence with which men and women believe they have a right to impose a private will upon a fellow-creature." - A description of Mrs. Mallard offered by Kate Chopin in "The Story of an Hour" "We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face...we must do that which we think we cannot." - Eleanor Roosevelt "If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there." - Lewis Carroll |
