06/13/2018- It's been a long time since I've been on this site. I have since written and published book 5 of my romance series, For the Love of Brynn. I took a year off from writing and just read like a fiend. Now I've finally gotten back to writing. I am going to finish the 6th and final book of the series and then I plan to reread Nate's Diary and continue with that story. I look forward to re-establishing relationships with those who enjoy my work. Thank you all. You are the reason I write.

10/08/2015- FOR THE LOVE OF BRYNN: BOOK 4 - A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCE is in the publication process even as we speak!!! In case you were wondering what happened to Nate's Diary...I put all my concentration in getting my 4th book published since I had fans begging for the next book. Once this has been completed, I will get back to NATE'S DIARY. Thank you all for your continued support! 02/08/15 - Hello all! I'm back! After taking a much needed hiatus in which I cleared my head and read other people's works, I sat down and reread Nate's Diary...all 941 pages.. and I must say I really enjoyed it. I now have begun writing where I left off. So, if you are a fan of The Host, I suggest you read A Soul's Hope and if you enjoyed that, you might give Nate's Diary a try. I hope to have a new chapter posted by Valentine's Day. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know if you're still out there. I missed you guys!

Let me begin by saying that I have encountered some wonderful and nurturing people on this site. I have also encountered some pretty angry people who seem to take great pleasure in trashing other people's work, which would be fine if they were great writers in their own right, but they are not. Having said that, I want everyone of you to know that although I am far from being a pro in the writing field, I will always try to be positive and helpful to anyone on this site who needs me for whatever reason. Anyone who puts pen to paper and writes a story deserves props for their imagination and for having the guts to put it out there for the world to judge. Writing, like any art, is a matter of taste. You can't please everyone, but you can please some of them. The ones you do please are the ones who matter. So even if I don't like your writing style, I promise not to attack, demean, or belittle you. That's not what I'm about, and I don't think that's what this site is about. I believe in my heart that everyone is capable of creating a good story, So good luck and good writing!

12/18/12 - I just want to say how blown away I am at the number of visitors and hits to "A Soul's Hope." I completed this story a year and a half ago, and I still get so many readers to this story. To date, I have 107 people who have listed it as one of their favorites. I am amazed and humbled. Thank you all!

Hi...My name is Nancy LeBrun. I am a huge fan of Stephenie Meyer. It is because of her book, "The Host", that I decided to forge into the world of writing. My first attempt was to write a sequel to her book simply because I felt that she left it so wide open with so many possibilities. It was a challenge I wasn't sure I could complete, but the obsession was born. I wrote A Soul's Hope in 3 1/2 months. I hope you, as a reader, will enjoy what I've written.

Nate's Diary is the story of Nathan Downey. It begins in the same place that A Soul's Hope begins, but it continues beyond the end of my first book. We learn about Nate and all of his secrets. 09/21/11 -I am a PUBLISHED AUTHOR! Yay, me! I have just released the first book in a series called "For the Love of Brynn - Book 1: Love Comes Easy". If you are enjoying 'A Soul's Hope' then you might enjoy the story of Brynn/Irdra as she lives life as a human with a heart bigger than most and as many loves to prove it.

A bit about me. I am married. I work full time. I write most of the rest of the time including every holiday. The two men in my life have no interest in reading my book because it is clearly not written for men. However, they are supportive of my efforts. I have a beautiful and talented daughter, who teaches theater at a high school, and I am told that her students love her.
