A brief history of my presence on this site:

1. I wrote my first story at age eighteen, in late 2010. It was a terribly written, OOC, obvious self-insert story and I became so embarrassed of it that I ended up discontinuing and deleting it in 2011.

2. The vast majority of my stories still posted here were written in 2011. I was fresh out of high school, high-key addicted to Harry Potter and had a lot of unresolved personal issues that made me seek a form of creative escapism. The stories I wrote in this period are quite honestly atrocious. Whatever good ideas I had are hidden within grammar so horrible it makes my eyes bleed to re-read it. However, I can't bring myself to take them down because it's nice to look back on how far I've come and some of the themes are so reflective of my personal life it sort of seems poetic.

3. I had a really long hiatus and started writing again in 2019. I returned primarily because I want to flex the writing muscle again and re-spark the creativity that I used to have. Sometimes I think my corporate job makes me a bit dead inside, and I don't want to lose my imagination. It's a goal of mine to write an original fiction one day and, until I'm ready to do that, I want to keep delving into the fictional universes I know and love to hone my skills.

Obviously, I write slash and het. More slashy stuff exists over on my A03 (Lola_Di_Penates) - which is where I predominately reside these days.

At this stage, I'm only continuing to update Lily, Predilection and Courage because I have unfinished business with them. The balance of my stories are either complete or on eternal hiatus.

A final note: I don't regard CC as canon. Sue me.
