Let’s see, what can I say about myself…

Well, my name is Ri, I'm 20, and I live in South Africa. I’m fully bilingual, Afrikaans being my first language but my English is just as good and I do all my studies in English. I can also speak some French (five years as a subject at school made sure of that). I'm in my second year in University (not telling you which one) and am studying Accounting.

I absolutely love getting feedback (seriously, I get uber exited every time I see I have an email) and would love to hear your opinion. Good, bad, judgmental, mental, useless as a review, I don’t care! Also, if you have any questions or would like to offer some advice please feel free to do so – as I said, I check my email a lot so chances are I’ll get back to you as soon as possible (just remember RSA is GMT2). And I will get back to you, promise! I’m also super interested in other countries as my biggest dream is to travel after my studies so please bare with me if I ask weird questions.

If I review your story, it’s cause I like it (or it’s confusing the living daylights out of me). I’ll definitely try to review as much as possible because I know how happy I am when others leave reviews for me (see if you catch the hint in there =P).

I don’t really read slash – it’s just who I am. I don’t say this to offend anyone, if you like it then great, whatever floats your boat.

For anyone who wants to know, my profile picture is my miniature dachshund – or worshond as we call them – puppy, who, I have to admit, is already spoiled rotten. I say this because he spends his days sleeping snuggled up to me on my bed (he cries non-stop if you put him in his basket), biting our toes and his father’s tail and undoing my granny’s laces (she thinks it’s cute) and when you yell at him he looks at you with his innocent little face so you can’t help but forgive him.

There are so many I can’t even think of all the writers I like but here are some of them.

Tamora Pierce (I like Alanna but Kel is my favourite! Dom and Kel are definitely my favourite pairing – can’t believe Tammy never went there! – and I like Daine too, just not as much as the other two. I never really got into the Circle series though.)

J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter, fantasy, I think you can make the connection.)

Meg Cabot (Loved her books growing up, but since I’m a bit too old for her teen books I’ve moved onto the books for older readers. They’re quite good too.)

There are loads of others – PC Cast’s books she writes alone, Julia Quinn, Kathy Reichs, etc, etc. – but the one story I never really got into was Vampire Diaries. Elena was just too fickle and not the kind of role model I’d like to look up to, no offense to those who like her.

TV Series:

Any RPG game with a proper story line. Really like the Fable series! I like the Sims as well. The feeling of controlling their lives is so exiting, isn’t it?

Mission: Undercover (Kel/Dom)

Kel and Dom are sent on a mission – which is basically just a plan Alanna and Raoul set up to show the two of them how perfect they are for each other, but just how much are they in control? And are things truly proceeding according to plan?

This is my main story I’m working on at the moment, so I’ll try and update as fast as possible.

The Unexpected Dance (Kel/Dom)

My fluffier story that had now gained a proper plot line. Kel is kidnapped and it is up to Dom and Neal to rescue her. Things may not run so smoothly however…

I usually return to this story when I need a break from Mission: Undercover so it might take a while longer to update. Sorry!

My first attempt at HP fanfiction. Rose is attacked and is saved by the person she least expects. She has never taken the time to really get to know him, but can this be the perfect opportunity to rectify that?

At War with a Scorpion

This idea just came to me one day and I've been thinking of a story line ever since. I like the idea of a strong hearted and sarcastic Rose who likes things to go her way and then see her reaction when they don't.
