I'm a woman in my mid-30s who still enjoys playing dress-up. Now I just do it with other people's characters. ;)

I write in the Captain America film series/MCU/Marvel and Avatar: the Last Airbender fandoms. My preference is for long, plotty gen, but I also love shorter bits of silliness and the occasional shippy fic. My favourite genres are horror, mystery, action/adventure, and comedy. I also love AUs and what-ifs. I over-identify to a frightening degree with Azula (A:tLA) and Bucky Barnes (Marvel) ;). I'm not super-invested in shipping (I don't understand ship wars at all!) but my favourite ships are, for AtLA, AzulaxTy Lee, AzulaxKatara, RokuxSozin, and RokuxSozinxTa Min and, for Marvel, BuckyxSteve, BuckyxNat, BuckyxSam and pretty much all OT3s and the OT4 between these four characters. In the Marvel fandom, I write in the MCU continuity, but I am pretty familiar with the comics and in fact have read every single comic Bucky Barnes appears in post 2005 resurrection and quite a few from before (I did say I over-identify with the character to a frightening degree ;)). However, while I do incorporate elements from the comics into my fics, no knowledge of the comics is required to read them.

I don't usually reply here as would require me to PM individual reviewers, which I find a tad intrusive, but I do read and appreciate all feedback, and I do try to respond to all comments at AO3 if you would like to comment there instead. (AO3 also enables me to include links and illustrations in my fics, so I use it as my primary archive and my account is mostly for backup.)
