Author has written 12 stories for Teen Wolf. So I live just outside London, England and I'm of an age where it's impolite to discuss your age. Suffice to say I have a son in his late teens. I've written stuff pretty much all through my life but I've only just attempted my first fanfic. I've written poems in school and song lyrics for all the incarnations of bands I've been in that have never done anything. I once got to the finals of the Royal Court Theatre's Young Writers competition with a play I wrote. Latterly I've done a bit of music reviewing and now I just discuss music I like on my LJ account although I haven't even done that for a while. If for the slightest reason you feel that you want to explore any of it, feel free, it's at http:/// In fanficland, I came in via Veronica Mars where I will ship Veronica/Lamb until the day I die. I've spent a lot of time recently in Glee concentrating on anything Puck like and I'll dabble in Criminal Minds and Big Bang Theory. I've never felt an urge to write anything for any of these 'verses (except a VM story that I started once and then left because it was so horrible, it's on a dead computer now so that's probably a good thing.) I don't know what it is about Teen Wolf that made me start except that I'm incredibly shallow and the thought of putting two of the hottest people I've seen lately together in some slashfic was just too good to resist. Writing for me is a horrible drawn out process. It doesn't get dashed off, it has to be pulled kicking and screaming out of me. Consequently I will never be the kind of person who updates every day. *OK, so that proved to be untrue for a couple of days. Now though, I've burnt through my first ideas so it's going to take a little longer from here on in.* I don't even know if I have any other stories in me, this might be it. I thank you for your consideration and I am eternally grateful for each and every review, alert and favourite I get, you're all too kind. 18th March '12 I'm going through one of those tedious writer's block periods. So I'd be happy to beta should anyone have need of my services. What I Will Do Check your grammar and spelling; repunctuate if required Check for logical inconsistities What I Won't Do Make plot suggestions (Well maybe if I feel I must but your story is your story, not mine.) Rewrite something because someone's too lazy to put much effort in If you're interested please PM me. I'm happy to beta any fandoms but if I don't know them you will get a sense check rather than a full beta. I positively insist that you go through your own work first and correct anything you see. I'm so tired of reading stupid mistakes which a simple read through would have picked up. I can't tell you how many times I read my own stuff through before I post it. It just seems like a common courtesy from me, the writer to you, the reader, that I present my work to the best of my ability and make it easy to read and flow nicely. But hey, maybe that's just me... |
