I am a 34 year old mom-chemist-wife-dog owner. I love the southern Vampire Series and True blood but tend to think in lines of what happened in the books rather than in the tv series. I love Alexander S. He is like my ideal man. When I have reviews I try to respond to their comments, in the past I wrote their names into the stories somehow but that can be overwhelming at times. I thought of it as a tribute to them and it was fun but I could only put so many random names into a story and still have it make sense. I hope you like my stories. Sookie has never been really anywhere and so often bring her to the Rocky Mountains where I am most familar with. If you have suggestions or comments feel free to give advice.

New Story in the works, The Long Road Home is about life in Rock Springs Wyoming. Yes, that is my home town. Have grown up all around the Rocky Mountains but that was my most favorite place to live. Wish I could move back there. Sorry for the long break for the last two months, my dog was terminal and it was heart breaking to watch him fade. It took a lot out of me, creatively and spiritually. So I have healed, some, and am back at the computer for a few hours everyday. I figure this is a great way at practicing typing and maybe I can get a job that way. LOL. Anyway. Thanks for reading and please remember to review. It is very important to us writers to see how well we are doing with the story lines, whether it is interesting and so on.

Working on both stories took a lot out of me but I am finally back at it. I hope you all are enjoying the two different stories, they are vastly different. Currently I am employed so that was part of the reason for the long break, the other was I am adjusting to life with two very hyper dogs. We found two dogs in need of a home off Craigs-list and they are now with us. Super nice dogs and we couldn't be happier with them, they just are a lot of work. Wow! It has been a year already and here I am back at it. I finished the Long Road Home over the winter and removed Babe in Vampire Land. Sorry about the removal of the story but I wanted to rewrite aspects of the story and pump up the dialogue. It is in progress and I am going chapter by chapter, extending certain parts and cutting useless internal monologues that get confusing and boring after awhile. I am also only going to have the point of view from Sookie and Eric. There was a ton of comments about the repeating POV, so that should cut out a lot of fuss. I have been pretty buried at work dealing with internal and external audits. So for the next few weeks posting may be more sporadic than my typical Sunday posting. Sorry about that but sitting at a computer for a couple extra hours a week is starting to take a toll on my back. Hopefully come August there will be a more regular posting schedule from me. Adios!

Well the divorce train freighted it's way through my life in the past year. I have had big changes both in my marriage and my professional life. My marriage of 16 years failed because of internal struggles I could no longer handle. While my personal life failed dismally in the past year I have bloomed into a very organized professional with lots of responsibility. At times it becomes overwhelming but I think that I am handling that part of my life well.

My ex-spouse and I are sharing custody of our child and so I should have lots of free time in the evenings soon to begin writing again.

I have decided to rewrite and update "The Long Road Home." Yes it was originally published about three years ago. I wrote it to vent and process a lot of feelings that I harbored for my husband at the time. No he isn't a single one of the men in the story but his character came out in all the males through out the story. My father, grandfather, uncle and brother were bits and pieces of the other men in the story too. So after reflecting on where I am and how the story evolved I have decided to remove it for a short period of time and chapter by chapter update again hopefully the grammar and content flow a bit better this time. I am open to suggestions and funny tidbits to incorporate throughout. Private message me if you have any thoughts. Heather
