Author has written 7 stories for Ghosts, 1997, Castlevania, Twilight Zone, Faerie Path, and Misc. Movies. Websites On (7 fics) (1 fanfic, 4 poems, 1 short story, 2 original) (2 fics) (8 fics, 1 essay) From 2010-2012 (age 11-13) I was a member of The Amanda Project, a website designed to promote a YA book series. The site still shows up in Google search but is apparently offline. Users were able to post their own content, including pictures and writing. I used this site extensively throughout middle school, primarily because I kept changing schools and had no one to talk to except the other kids I met through TAP. The constant writing I did (primarily using the Notes app on my iPod, as I had limited access to a computer) for TAP, while not of high quality by my current standards, set the stage for improvement. Nearly all of my current ideas for novels originated in this period and were first incarnated as short stories/serials on this site. I’m quite pissed that it’s down and I’ve lost all the terrible stuff I wrote when I was thirteen. Short Stories The Old World Lives Anew! is a collection of short stories posted on Wattpad, including: - First short story, written in 2009, revised in 2011. Twin girls raid their dead mother’s belongings. One twin is beautiful but aggressive and wicked, one is plain and good but passive. Was inspired by a chapter from , a YA book I picked up at the library, disliked immensely, and did not finish reading. Revised in 2011. - Science fiction. An AI designed to manage a company goes rogue and holds several employees hostage, but hones in on one woman in particular, demanding she go down into the basement alone. The Prince of Logic - Oddball short about young girl named Tammy who attempts to befriend her neighbor, a lonely and distant old man named Leonard Triponov. Old files reveal it was supposed to continue on with subplots revolving around Triponov being forced to care for his abusive 90 year old mother, and Tammy dying of cancer or AIDS or something. As it is now, it’s very short and kind of pointless. - Planned fantasy novella which I never finished, but later incorporated into my novel as a historical document (with major changes). A non-human prince deals with court intrigue and buys a human slave. Like a lot of the stuff on here, it ends abruptly. - Under the orders of the captain, Michael cannot join the rest of his family in working the fields, sparking tensions between him, his siblings, and his abusive father. No one has been able to figure out the twist, so I would technically consider this a failure. r/nosleep works from when I was trying to break into the online horror genre (none of them are even really horror tbh): Fanfiction The Mary Sue of Ghosts 1997 - “I wrote this when I was twelve, so take it with a grain of salt.” Available only on . Is it scary for u? - Parody fanfic. Based on a Michael Jackson music video. Available on and MJFiction. Paradox - Last MJ fanfiction I wrote. I left it unfinished (despite having only four more planned chapters to go) in order to move to Tumblr and write about JD. Available on MJFiction and AO3. Chase - Castlevania fanfic. Very short MariaxAlucard oneshot. Available on and AO3. The Other - First from the Jeffrey Dahmer line. Not as good as I thought it was at the time. Confusing too. Available on and AO3. Go In Peace - AU where JD becomes a priest in an attempt to atone for murdering Steven Hicks. Also not as good as I remember. Available on and AO3. Cold Limits - Best thing to come out of my JD fascination. JD is murdered in prison, then “wakes up” in his house in Ohio in the summer of ‘78, thinking his entire life after Hicks’ murder was just a vivid nightmare. He resolves not to let the dream become reality and immediately goes to his father for help, but something is very, very wrong with the entire scenario. I’m ridiculously proud of this thing and can’t bring myself to delete it, even if it proves detrimental to my career lol. Available on and AO3. The Long Night of King Oberon - The Faerie Path fanfic. AU oneshot where Tania decides to stay an ordinary human and abandons her double life, much to her Edric’s disappointment. Available on and AO3. Counterparts - JD fanfic. Unfinished and orphaned on AO3. Dig Here Said the Angel - JD fanfic/poem. Set in the 1600s and featuring my favorite poet George Herbert. I still don’t know why this exists but it’s actually pretty good. Available on AO3 and Wattpad. Poetry Early Poems (2011-2013) - Compiled from DeviantArt, these are all poems about Michael Jackson I wrote at the same time I was on TAP. They are very very bad. Wattpad exclusive. Poems Don’t Have to Rhyme - Largest collection of my poems, amassed over a five year period between 2013 and 2018. Currently has 65 poems ranging from godawful to halfway decent. Wattpad exclusive. “I Dare Not Touch the Red” - Poem I wrote when I was 14, which was published in the 2017 issue of Sandscript, the Pima college literary magazine. Divine Opera - Paradise Lost-eque free verse about God and Satan and co, written around 2014. Unfinished but interesting. Wattpad exclusive. Non-Fiction Dream Journal - Exactly what it says on the tin. The earliest entry is from 2011 and was carried over from TAP to Wattpad. As you might expect, I keep it updated regularly. In Place of Semantics - College paper I wrote comparing Fyodor Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment to the life and times of Jeffrey Dahmer. Available only on AO3. Vladposting - Regurgitating info on Vlad Dracula, the real life Romanian voivode. Available in its entirety at . |
