Author has written 12 stories for Ouran High School Host Club, and Guys and Dolls. “Art to me is an anecdote of the spirit, and the only means of making concrete the purpose of its varied quickness and stillness.” Mark Rothko "Reality is one of the possibilities I cannot afford to ignore." Leonard Cohen "I'm so pretty, it's hard for me to think of myself as intelligent." Thomas Raith About Me: College student. Slowly losing my mind. Hot geek. Reader extraordinaire. And so obsessed with Rothko, BPips, and Leonard Cohen that I cry (a lot). Fast Facts: I know far too much about criminology, art, and the brain. I’m fluent in French, English, and Drunken English; my Polish is conversational at best and enough to have a very lucrative career as a prostitute. I can flirt with a rock and successfully seduce it. My relationship with anime began when I was very young and at my babysitter’s house, with her older daughter providing me with Sailor Moon in copious, unhealthy quantities. After that, I was introduced to manga from another friend, and since then, it has been a downhill battle against succumbing to my addiction. Very sarcastic. Much dry humor. So Southern Belle. About My Writing: I highly approve of proper spelling – grammar I’m rather lenient towards, unless it’s awful, with a few exceptions when it comes to word choice. Some of my pet peeves include: “Your” and “You’re”: The former is a form of the possessive case of you used as an attributive adjective; the latter is a contraction of ‘you are’. “To” and “Two” and “Too”: The first is an infinitive, as in ‘to run’; the second is the number; and the third is a word that means ‘moreover’ or ‘in addition’. “They’re” and “Their” and “There”: The first is a contraction of ‘they are’; the second is a form of the possessive case of they used as an attributive adjective before a noun; the last means ‘at that place’. I do not have a beta reader, but I do think that they are beneficial if you feel you need one. It’s a truth that not many people acknowledge, but not every word in the English language (or any language for that matter) can be sounded out phonetically. On My Posting: Fanfiction is not my life. I have other responsibilities that must come first, and when I get an off-chance to write, then I’m usually working on my own books. It is only when my muse is being a royal bitch that I make my way to my own fanfictions. I’m very sorry if that upsets anyone or makes them believe that I am a flake. I will finish what I put out, but I do believe that people should understand that fanfiction is what I use to clear my brain for my first love(s): my own books. Anyway, sorry that I got ranty. I do appreciate anyone who has checked this out – as a reader myself, I know that if I like someone’s work I check out their profile to see what else they’ve come up with and just to see what kind of person they are. I'm super chill though. Get to know me. ;) Thank you for stopping by! |
