Hello to anyone who has decided to take the time to read this. I'm Purple Marmalade. There's not really much to say about me- at least nothing terribly interesting or exciting.

I'm currently in the middle of writing a Liar Game fanfiction- I realise that I did abandon the story for close to two years, but I always had, and still do fully intend to see it all the way through. As we speak I posted a chapter yesterday and I already have the next two almost finished and ready to post.

In terms of what I'm thinking of writing next I have a few ideas, but I don't want to take up more than I can handle or get distracted. I am most interested in doing a Fullmetal Alchemist and Harry Potter crossover next- not really one that's too long, but something that explores the relationship of alchemy and magic. I would also be very interested in writing a piece for Little Women; something about Beth, quite possibly AU because I don't think she was too old fashioned to have lived at all. Or maybe something for Bones- Zack I feel is an interesting character... The ideas are boundless it seems.

My taste in reading is a bit odd- I like seeing things that aren't the most probable happen, at the same time I prefer that the situation be plausible according to the rules of the original work. I love characters like the brilliant anti-hero, the ditzy genius or the redeemable villain; and while finding works that fit these perimeters is becoming much easier I would still love recommendations if anyone should have any. Favourite authors include: J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Oscar Wilde, Roald Dhal, George Bernard Shaw and Enid Blyton. Favourite books include anything written by the afore mentioned authors as well as: The Little Women series, the Sherlock Holmes short stories (Strand Magazine), the Artemis Fowl series, The Little Prince, The Alchemist, and Yes Minister.
