Author has written 4 stories for Star Trek: 2009, and StarTrek: The Original Series.

Author is a British/South African parent of two beautiful daughters, and a Star Trek fan since early childhood. I have previously authored and edited articles in various magazines, but I haven't written any fanfic since my teens.

My kids tell me I need to get a life, rather than writing about pointy-eared fictional characters. Well, my girls, I can tell you that a certain Mr Roddenberry made a pretty decent living out of it, so it can't be a complete waste of time! ;-)

Never A Girl reviews
I've noticed a lot of genderbending fics, usually alwaysAGirl!fics or weirdAlienSpore!fics - but I haven't noticed any where one of the main characters is transgender. So in case you were wondering what it's like to be 'born in the wrong body', here's the story of a transgender man, told through Jim's eyes.

It always perplexed me how a logical Vulcan such as Sybok could believe in Sha Ka Ree, leading him to his own demise. In the alternate universe, Spock Prime finds a logical reason to search for Sybok and hopefully rescue him.
