#First of all: *Reviews are highly appreciated, (even if the story you want to comment on is completed, and of course, also if I do not mention it explicitly in my author's notes). :-)

#I'm female. "Eilike" is my pen name. I used it for a role-play character, once. You would pronounce it "I-lee-keh", with the stressing on the "lee".

#I am not an English native speaker. All I know I learned at school and by watching Star Trek. :-)

# One of my earliest memories is of myself, trying to write a fanfic featuring my favorite character from my favorite children's book. I was aged four, and I gave up on the effort, not because of the story but because I couldn't draw a decent cover picture. The main character didn't look like himself at all and he kept having too many fingers on his hand.

# My earliest fanfics include a lot of Star Trek and - a short story about Mephistopheles. No kidding. I was giving him a really hard time trying to keep his side of the contract with Faust. That was several years before "Kuroshitsuji" was even published. There seems to be a pattern here... :-)

#I write my stories mostly at night, sitting on an inflatable mattress. It's an impossible posture, actually. Ruins my biorhythm, too. Occasionally, I fall asleep in front of my notebook. If I don't have to get up and work the next day, I don't mind. As far as I'm concerned, writing is just another kind of dreaming, after all.

#I rarely know what the characters are "up to". I don't plan my stories, from beginning to end. Characters keep surprising me. Things take unexpected twists and turns. It wouldn't be half as much fun if they didn't. Yet, *something* inside me seems to know from the start where the story is headed, because I usually don't get seriously stuck. There are moments, sooner or later, when things come together and pieces just fall into place... these moments always feel purely magic.

I am glad I found this opportunity to share my joy with you. Hope you enjoy my current story "Siren Call". It's *not* a sequel to "Chains of Command". I've seen to it that you can read one without knowing the other. It's just that the characters I introduced have a story to tell, and of course it involves major trouble for Sebastian & Ciel :-)
