Author has written 4 stories for American Horror Story. Hi, hey, hello, sup? So yeah I know I've been gone for like six months and I apologize for that. I didn't die or anything, I just got preoccupied over the summer with life and then school started and I'm back to being a scientist and bogged down with that (everyone knows that feeling) but in that time I have been writing quite a bit. I'm still working on About a Girl and will update soon (I promise.) I have written a few drafts of chapters but I'm in the process of fixing up the existing chapters (cause they're quite messy) and giving the story a makeover because at one stage I didn't really know anymore what this fic was about and started to hate it and is pretty much why I avoided updating it. But once I sort it out I'll continue writing it. It has a long way to go yet and I'm truly grateful for all the support the story has received, honestly it's phenomenal. I've written some pretty desolate stuff (go figure :P) lol so lots to come. But yes I'm back! Phantasmagoria is a new Season 2 fic I'm writing which I think is a positive way for me to deal with the things I hate about Season Two (You can read them at the bottom of this page) I was also inspired by the episode four promo and the whole Holocaust tie over because those things are always great if done well and with respect and it's all looking very Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children to me at the moment which is fantastic (great book if you haven't read it.) All of the above coupled with the asylum setting is probably what inspired me to write this fic, fuckyeahfantasy! I'm also working on a fic which isn't AHS but for an all time favourite novel of mine Wir Kinder Vom Bahnhof Zoo. It doesn't have an official fandom here but is something I would have written anyway and maybe there are some WKVBZ fans around here I dunno! Anyway the book is hard to get unless you speak German but you can watch the movie adaption on Youtube with English subs if you're interested/bored sometime and would enjoy a hard hitting, non-glamorized account of the lives of a group of teenagers into hard drugs and prostitution in Berlin in the seventies you should read/watch it (there's also lot's of David Bowie which is awesome.) Book recommendation - I've read a lot of books this summer but in particular The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks has been my favourite and is something you should read if you haven't read it before and would be into biology sci-fi. It's really really good. Slán go foill. |
