Yo! Sooooo it's been a few years since I've been on here... sorry 'bout that.. I used to write and read fanfiction like you but then I took a college to the knee..

Anyways... I have an unfinished Doctor Who / NCIS cross over on here and a straight up Doctor who story that I need to finish... I will eventually finish the cross over at least and post it on here and the place I will probably most likely be at, livejournal! Look me up, my name on there is just legendofthefox.

Anyways, here's a new bio

I'm a 22 year old electrical engineering student. Technically, I just need about one more year of engineering based classes then I'm out, however I don't really know when I'll finally graduate. I'm currently on a co-op with a small factory that belongs to a HUGE company. It's really great because I'm getting class credit and a paid job doing things that go way beyond book and lab work. It's also great that the factory is small but the company is huge, because the factory is basically just a bunch of engineers telling machinery what to do, every one knows each other and gets to work everywhere and design anything, and they have a bunch of disposable income to do R&D. So it's never boring and always rewarding.

In addition to being a student of engineering I also have studied history. All I need is an extra year of school and some paperwork then I can graduate with a BS in History as well as Engineering. I love cold war era American history, science and technology history, and World War 1 & 2 history.

I'm also a bit artistic. I used to sketch a lot but now I mostly paint. Oils are my favorite but recently I've done a lot of water colour. I have a really hard time giving or selling my art to strangers so I could never make it as an artist for a living or side business. I've done a lot of donated work in several mediums for my old campus job. The place I worked at on my old campus was focused on community outreach trying to get kids in the area interested in science, so the nerd in me ate that up. I have much more time to myself while I'm on my co-op so I might be able to finally bring out my oils again. I also am a bit of a musician. I'm decent a slew of instruments and only really good at a few. I can play the following decently well : guitar(strummed), harmonica, bass, violin, accordion(dont laugh..), I can sing decently, and marching snare. I can play anything with a key board very well and I used to could do multiple mallets in each hand for marimba and xylophone. I can also pick guitar very well but I suck at doing full strumming. I can also do "general" or "pit" percussion. I can play almost anything by ear, so thats awesome, and I write music as well (but not lyrics). Also, if you couldn't tell by the whole instrument thing, I was a band geek once upon a time.

I was probably born during the wrong decade. Not entirely sure what decade I should have been born in, but I love all things vintage. Or just about... I'm not into that hipster crappy camera nonsense. But I love old cars, music, and film. It may be harder to find some of the things that I love, like a classic car that's at a decent price that isn't rusted to death, but at least I have years of things to go through and love. I guess being born after the heyday of what you love is good in some aspects. I mean, I just bought four classic movies on one dvd for $5 the other day. If this was the time period that they were made in I would just have to go to theatre to see Cary Grant, who is my spirit animal by the way.

I like weird things. It explains why I'm friends with most of the people that I am and it also explains why I love the X-Files, Supernatural, and a whole slew of other sorts of similar things.

I'm a music nut. I like the Eagles, general Mowtown, Foreigner, ELO, Depeche Mode, Smash Mouth, Glen Miller, Kansas, The Ventures, Blue Oyster Cult, Daft Punk, Frank Sinatra, and I have about 100 other radios on Pandora.

I'm a super nerd. I play Nintendo, Magic the Gathering, and Dungeons and Dragons when I can. Every username I have ever had has been a reference to something "nerdy". Like this one, Legend of the Fox. Ten points to Gryffindor if you guessed it had something to do with the X-files.

I love soccer and played since I was a kid and nearly all throughout high school. I had an injury that keeps me from playing anymore. I don't keep up with it as much as I used to because it's sort of a sore subject now. It also doesn't help that I wont buy the expensive cable to get the soccer channel and I only have access to most of the games I would have watched at my parent's house. It also doesn't help that I'm banned from watching soccer at my parent's house because I kinda threw the remote at the tv after a bad call. So there's that... I still play causally with friends and I also love to camp and hike.

I wouldn't say I'm a cat person or a dog person because I love them both. So I'm a pet person I guess. Except for birds. Birds are pompous little shits. And poodles. Can't stand poodles.

So, yeah, thats a look at some of the things in my world...
