About My Fics

Many of my fics will have a strong focus on aspects such as father-son/parental relationships, disabilities (as seen in The Strength of Silence), coming-of-age, and family in general.

Fun Tolkien Q/A's!

Favorite Character - Elrond, without a doubt! He has a history that is simply thrilling to read about, and my heart aches for all of the loss and pain he has endured, although it makes him all the more stronger. He's followed closely by Thranduil, Legolas, Sam, Bilbo...but who am I kidding, I love ALL of Tolkien's characters!

Least Favorite Character - I don't really think there's a character I don't like (from the books at least). I'm rather impartial to Tauriel, mainly because she wasn't in the books and I feel that the movies might have done better without her. I hate that most movies always feel the need to include a romantic drive! One of the reasons I love the LOTR films better than The Hobbit ones is because it wasn't overly romantic- it had just the right amount and didn't feel awkward...okay I'm done ranting! :)

Books or Movies: I think you can already guess that I prefer the books, but that doesn't mean I don't own all the extended versions of the films and play them over and over again to the point of memorizing the lines...

A note on discrimination: If I see anyone discriminating against someone's gender, sexuality, race, religious beliefs, etc, then they will be blocked without question.
