Greetings, ladies and gentleman, and welcome to the show.
I'm a German writer whose secret passion is reading and writing fanfiction, femslash to be exact. I tend to kind of follow one OTP per show/book/film and stick to it, but I would never dictate that anyone has to ship anything as long as they accept my views. Anyone can ship whatever they want and I'm not remotely interested in getting caught in a flame war.

A word about my work:
When I write, I can never stick to short stories. I'm all about the long, planned out and epic stuff. I love it when things make sense and come from a place you can either understand or have worked to get to for quite some time, with just the softest air of mystery clinging to them. What I don't like is complete character assassination, making anyone bad for the sake of having a scapegoat and rape. You will NEVER find me writing anything dealing with rape, not because I shut my eyes to the subject, but because I abhor how it is used as an easy go-to plot device these days and because there are writers out there who will be able to deal with it in an much better and sensitive way than I.

Things that make me go 'me likey': Fantasy in all kinds of mediums, DRAGONS, fairy tales, Disney stuff, animals, character studies, thoughtful plots of epic proportions, clever canon derivations, philosophy, ethics, music of probably every genre and sweets. And cake. Never forget the cake.

Things I go squinty-eyes at in a kind of 'not sure' way: Original characters, new fandoms, everything too heavily influenced by music (the song fics are taking over everythiiing...), other ships, too heavy and crazy M-rated stuff.

Things I think are icky: Incest stuff (with the one and only exception of Setsuna und Sarah in Angel Sanctuary), threesomes and more-somes, pure hetero stuff that isn't fantasy, and much more things I can't think of right now.

The fandoms I have the highest interest in:
Xena (Xena/Gabrielle, duh), Batman (Harley/Ivy), Kim Possible (Kim/Shego), Once Upon A Time (Regina aka The Evil Queen/Emma), Legend of the Seeker (Cara/Kahlan) and many, many more.
